Jack F. Smith loved Nick and Sharon and Jack and Phyllis separately, so he couldn't resist bringing these two couples together in some way. The only bad thing is, they've been stuck together ever since.

Well, this chapter is tragically over for Nick and Phyllis.

But it's okay. He's going to be alone and bitter and horny. Maybe HE should hook up with Chloe.

Each day that passes, he will realize what he lost..."threw away".

I definitely agree on eventually having Phack back... but I never want to see Shack/Phick again...

Shack should definitely die a painful death. There is no reason to ever revisit that pairing. I did like them together, but it's clearly not a love match, so now that it's over it needs to stay over. Phyllis and Nick will probably happen again down the road, which I would also rather not happen, but I won't be surprised if Phyllis is used as Nick's Ashley *gag me*.

In which case, Phyllis better stay clear of Jack because he's been a cheater too. Actually, so is Phyllis.

The foundation of her relationship with Jack wasn't an affair, that was my point. Jack hasn't slept around in years, he's reformed in that sense.

Anyway, being in love with someone isn't about what they can do for you. If it were, Sharon should be in love with Jack.

But when Phyllis was in love with Jack, she was REALLY in love with Jack, unlike Sharon. Sharon just sees Jack as comfort food, Jack and Phyllis were much more.

I'd much rather see Jack and Phyllis both find new people.

If she's paired with a newbie at this point, Phyllis might as well be written out. They don't develop new characters anymore, and they sure as hell aren't interested in building new relationships.

And she didn't accept him anymore than he accepted her.

Nikki definitely was the discarder, not the discarded.

Eh. No.

Jack and Phyllis will definitely be back together romantically.

Victor definitely seemed suspicious of Adam today. I thought his comment about Adam choosing a good bottle of wine was interesting. Was Victor wondering if Adam could see which wine he was choosing? I felt EB played it that way.

You are officially gagged. And I'm with you.

Me too.

Victor's gonna hurt him.

Sadly, you probably are not going to get your wish.

Okay, so I'll admit the official sequence was a bit different. But Nikki NEVER gave her heart to Jack. Jack may finally have seen the writing on the wall, but Nikki was the one who never really committed to Jack, IMO.

This is how SOD tells it:

Nikki lost the baby when she rushed to prevent an argument between Victoria and Victor and tumbled down the stairs. She didn't tell Jack that Victor had played a role in her fall; when he learned the truth and that she'd been protecting Victor, Jack realized she'd never love him in that way.

Eh. No.

You were just wrong.

But Nikki NEVER gave her heart to Jack.

She did.

But by the time she did Jack was done.

He's going to "crush Adam like a cockroach!. You got that!":lol:

You're probably right, except I wonder if the fact that Adam is his son...and that he feels some guilt for making Adam this way...will play any kind of role.

Also, Michael Muhney is physically substantial and does a terrific high-kick. I have a hard time picturing him get crushed. Victor is also forbidden to do any further head-butting. So the "crushing" is going to have to take a non-physical form. Maybe Victor will have to hire goons?
