May 29, 200916 yr Member You know what music cue I HATE? The one they always play for Mac and Billy, and I remember it was used a lot when Nick and Phyllis began their affair in 2005. It sounds like something that should be used for a murder mystery or something. OMG, I love that cue! It's one of their best cues IMO. It was created for Mac&Billy, and it should have never been used for Phick or anyone else but Mac&Billy. When I listen to it, I get goosebumps. To me, it has no connection with mysteries or things like that. It says 'forbidden love' (ie. when you love someone, but your personalities will never allow it to last). I can't believe you guys don't like it
May 29, 200916 yr Member Phyllis even calls her a Hot Mess on Friday's Y&R. I must really hate the Newman's to be sitting around hoping that no one catches Adam, lol. I feel exactly the same. And they have scripted it that way...will Adam get caught in the hospital? will Viki go into his room and see the open window? They understand that, somehow, we're still rooting for the little twerp There's too many DNA reversals already on this show. Amen! We need a "3-D moratorium" (deaths, doppelgangers, DNA)
May 29, 200916 yr Member Hey MarkH, no matter what the others said, I think your analysis is right on the money. I completely agree with your description of Jack's 'love' for Sharon. I wish the writers aknowledged it too. LOL. You liked the 'soul rot' eh? Glad someone did Honestly, Jack has been screwed up about women since Dina left the family. Initially, under TL, his "screwup" was the tendency to use them for sex without emotional commitment. You could understand that because, basically, he was never going to let another woman do to him what Dina did to John. Under Bergman, of course, that changed. Starting with Nikki, Jack began this pattern of sappiness (remember, I like PB--and I like his emotional range!). So, even though Jack remained snarky and ruthless in ways, when it came to women he was suddenly much more like John. And, like John, women started stomping on his heart. Nikki did it first, I think, with PB's Jack.
May 29, 200916 yr Member Amen! We need a "3-D moratorium" (deaths, doppelgangers, DNA) You forgot pregnancies.
May 29, 200916 yr Member I'm so glad they brought up Devon's past. This solidifies his character a bit, someone who's so much more real than just about everyone on Y&R. And I kind of like where this is going, with the Daddy search. It's been done a billion times and the set up was just as weak as Daniel's lame-ss FBI story, but I like that Devon gets his own time to shine. He hasn't in years. And I don't even like Bryton that much. Devon is currently the most interesting person in his family. I don't want to see a "daddy search", expecially if it ends up with the contrivance of being someone we know...but I am enjoying seeing a bit more Devon. My whole conceptualization of the character would have been different from day one but, being as it is, I find Devon brings more emotional truth to his scenes than any of his castmates. You forgot pregnancies. Well, they don't bother me as much...but I guess you're rigth. But I'd add it to the list if we could make it start with "d"
May 29, 200916 yr Member so no deaths, lookalikes, dna, or pegnancies? why dont we rule out secrets, lies, and affairs too?

May 29, 200916 yr Member "Tonight. On a very special Blossom." (Sorry. Your avatar inspired me!) everytime i see Finola Hughes on anything i always think of Blossoms step mom. When she came onto AMC i was all WTF> Blossoms step mom? And my mother was all no, thats Anna! lol.
May 29, 200916 yr Member I just wanted to ask who that annoying girl is. GASP! Hush your mouth! That was the multi-talented (and she still is -- she has, like a PhD in Physics or something) actress/musician/simger/scientist Mayim Bialik who played Blossom on, well, "Blossom." I remember it being the first time a mainstream show portrayed a recovering drug-addict sympathetically. And of course it had Joey Lawrence. And the nutty best friend. Sigh. Childhood.

I never watched that, so I can't really say much about it. But back to Y&R... Mac has been here for an entire month and still no scenes with J.T.? Really? Does he always have to be joined at the hip of that coma-girl?

But who's the pretty boy (I was going to say "the gayface" but he doesn't, really. He's just pretty in that Zac Efron way)?
May 29, 200916 yr Member I know one of them is AshBash. But who's the pretty boy (I was going to say "the gayface" but he doesn't, really. He's just pretty in that Zac Efron way)? Stephen Colletti of Laguna Beach and One Tree Hill fame.

Does he always have to be joined at the hip of that coma-girl? Seriously. While I wish lovely things for their personal life together and their baby, I'm wondering if the Heinle-Luckinbill marriage somehow killed their chances of a SL. Either together or apart.
