I'm a Nuke fan but I don't want the boys to get married... not right now anyway. Why can't they just date? Good DOG.

And, yeah. I think it looked like they were joking around too.

Could Katie be any more obnoxious? She controls what Vienna eats, thinks and where she sleeps. She's now planning Vienna's meds during childbirth. What's next? How often Vienna poops? UGH...

I think Henry's snapped. :o However, I flove he's going to ruin Katie's perfect life. And I floved the talk with Bob.

Holden/Lily/boys/Damian. SNOOZE. Seriously...they brought Damian back for this??

I just realized...EVERY story on the show has people fighting over kids. Jack/Carly/Craig fight over Parker. Paul/Meg for Eliza. Dusty/Craig over Johnny. Dusty fights with Paul over Eliza. Damian/Holden over Luke. And now the Bratie/H&V stuff over this pregnancy. It's redonkulous.

Jean loves baby stories no matter the age of the child. Her name should be called Jean Baby Passanante....LOL Today's show was ok since Katie's world is going to come crashing on her. I love it!

Luke being all paranoid again was just UGH! Van's acting continues to get on my nerves.

LOL....Whatever Happened to Baby Jean???

Sometimes I wonder how Pissy's restrained herself from knocking Liberty up. Or Carly. But then I just drop to my knees and pray to God the idea never enters her mind.

Jean had one great storyline: the baby switch. So she did what she had to with success...she kept repeating baby stories over and over and over. Unfortunately, she forgot the original baby story had all the things her repeats don't: an umbrella storyline which brought all the cast into the story, and was not wrapped up in three weeks.

LOL...I don't know who's heartache caused me greater joy---Katie's or Meg's.

Meg's just plain stupid, trying to gaslight Paul. But I enjoyed seeing her knocked off her high horse, especially after that crap she pulled marrying Craig. (The one, and the only Craig I'll ever love.)

Watching Katie's world crumble was sublime. Was it what I wanted? Heck no...my scenario would have involved dancing Munchkins, a chorus comprised of Oakdalian women who'd accidently gotten knocked up (headed naturally by Lily and Carly) singing "Yes Sir, That's MY Baby!" and been broadcast live on "Oakdale NOW!" as the entire city watched and snickered in delight.

But watching Katie pull out her trademarked "crumple face" as Henry and V dug themselves in deeper and deeper, and watch that TWIT self-righteously blather on about how she's grown "so attached" to that baby even after Vienna still offered to let her "best friend" Katie raise her child put a smile on my face.

OTOH, today is a perfect example of why the "two story per day" system doesn't work. We wuz robbed of the buildup of watching Katie absorb the news, and then confront Henry and V. One minute, Katie and Brad are slack-jawed at the hospital...after the commercial break, they are at home with one tear shed before Henry and V arrive. It's criminal, I tell you....criminal.

ITA!!! If dumbness was a disease Nurse Joy would be dead, while on the other hand, if Henry doesn't kick Katie to the curb THIS TIME he's going to be classified as being as dumb as Meg Nurse Joy.

I remember the four stories per day leading to one cliffhanger after another with the last one being the biggest. How I miss those days. This one from Dallas only had a 3 cliffhanger moment...but you get my drift. One cliffhanger after another leading to the last one. Why soaps don't do that anymore is beyond me.

Actually this one is a better example...the last had missing the Sue Ellen vs Mandy Winger face off This one has Angelica Nero being arrested...Jack's car exploding with Jamie in it.....Sue Ellen being blown to pieces and Bobby in the shower. Four different cliffhangers..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbTzs7_98so&hl=en&fs=1 type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344">

LOL...that was supposed to show the depth of her pain. I know some will disagree---but TC just massacred those scenes today. And not in a good way....I kept watching her drop out of character as Vienna explained her motivations. One minute she's all red and crying, the next moment, it's like she's listening for her cues and completely out of the scene. At least IMO.

    • Rewatching/binging THE X-FILES Seasons 1 and 2 (almost done). So much fun re-experiencing, especially re-discovering some of the monster-of-the-week stories. THE WEST WING Seasons 1 and 2 as well - so good to rewatch now with 20 years more life experience and understanding. ALSO.... lol FOOTBALLERS' WIVES Season 3, which is just as bonkers as I remember and so so so so fun. I had forgotten about that iconic season cliffhanger. Good times. Excited to rewatch Seasons 4 and 5 since I remember so very little about them. Hope you've been enjoying!
    • @Toups Tyler Topits listed in alpha order with the breakdown writers 5/12 Monday episode. O'Connor still listed as both breakdown and script writer. Kreizman wrote today's script.
    • Marland was long gone by this point.  He quit in either August/September 1982. I think it was due to letting the actress play out her contract and use her for party scenes and/or scenes with Phillip/Justin.   I was surprised she was still on in June 1983 myself, because I figured she had been written out before Pam Long joined the writing staff. Thankfully, having episodes uploaded during this period on Spauldingfield YT site has helped to connect some of the dots.  It looks as though Pam Long starts the first week or so of May 1983.. and in those first few weeks: Morgan and Evie were both written off and Lillian/Mindy/Billy/Beth/Annabelle all come onto the show.

    • Doug III’s first day of work. Hope he does a good job… or that Tate tries to sabotage him somehow

His scenes with Holly were nice though. They’re sweet together and I understand why some people think that they have more chemistry than Tate/Holly do. And I liked that Doug III opened up to her about his past. Maybe that could lead to something good happening in the future.  I also enjoyed Roman and Kate, and how they’re both being tied into EJ’s shooting. The mystery of it all is really compelling. I don’t think Roman is the shooter though either.  I didn’t have much sympathy for Kristen though. She has no one to blame for Rachel’s problems than herself. But at the same time, I’m really surprised that Days actually remembered the Alex/Kristen fling. I thought Ron had erased that from existence. I’m not shipping them at all, but I’m definitely shipping a permanent end to Brady/Kristen but after today, I’m not so sure about that either.  And, Johnny and Chanel were still great together
