Sharon Case just gave an interview on Soaps.com and said that Sharon would be going off the deep end and doing crazy things.

Soaps.com: Can you give us any hints about what's to come?

Sharon: Well, Sharon starts having a really hard time in life, with all the bad things that are going to start happening. Her reaction to things? She does a lot of really horrible things coming up in the future. She has a lot of fights with people - you see a really dark side to Sharon coming around the corner.

Soaps.com: That sounds exciting. It's interesting because everyone is expecting that Phyllis will be the one going off the deep end!

Sharon: Yes! That's a good way of putting it - Sharon does go off the deep end!

Looks like Hogan Sheffer is going to do a 360 on Sharon just like he did with Barbara from ATWT.

How is this "huge?" I didn't take it that Sharon will become a lunatic or something, all Case said was Sharon would be going through a tough time in her life and start acting out in a more aggressive manner. The "deep end" comment sounds like a hyperbole.

Y&RWorldTurner, I think it's huge because fans will see an whole new side of Sharon. ANYWAY, here's the part talking about her getting a new love interest. Notice how the interviewer didn't even bring up Billy's name and that was all Sharon Case. Yep it's Billy!!!

Soaps.com: What about the idea of Sharon going in a different direction love-interest wise?

Sharon: Well, we'll see! [laughs] Sharon may have another new love interest on the show! That could be coming up soon!

Soaps.com: There have been a couple of names bandied around on the Internet - maybe Adam, or Cane.

Sharon: [laughs] Well, yes, there's Adam - he's a likely character, he's Nick's brother. There's Cane, for sure. And there's Billy! So we'll see!

She also said this in that interview, so who knows...

Soaps.com: Here's a big question - are you hoping that Sharon will get back together with Nick?

Sharon: Oh, yes! One day, yes. Absolutely! I think that's what this is all about, you know; Sharon moving on with Jack, and Phyllis, and I think it's all about them finding their way back to each other after what happened to them.

Back when Sharon found out above Phick Sharon Case was playing Sharon with awesome psychotic undertones..... I'd be interested to see Hogan pull a Barbara with this character. But it doesn't really make much sense given the current storyline climate..... so Phick gets a reprieve, at least temporarily anyway?

It would be Phyllis' karma out right for Sharon to be pregnant, possibly by Nick, or an Abbot. This time Billy, who I take it must not be getting any from Lily, or be done with her on their own lame merritts. I like this direction for Sharon.

To me Sharon has always seemed to be a step away from crazy anyway so this isn't a huge surprise to me.

Soaps.com: Frustrated viewers finally got to see Sharon say the things to Jack that they'd been yelling at their television sets for weeks!

Sharon: Well, Maria Arena Bell is amazing! Hopefully, that won't change! We've been through so much change! I loved having Jack Smith write the show, it was a crying shame that they let him go, then we went through a bunch of 'crazy' for a few years, ever since Jack Smith left, now we've finally stabilized - we have a fabulous writer in Maria. Let's not rock the boat again!

Soaps.com: Some feel that Maria Arena Bell has brought it back to the way Bill Bell used to write the show.
