Send a Duracell to Keep the Guiding Light on!

We all know GL has been lackluster the past several years, but that doesn't mean we want the show to die. With the improvements (which have been steady) and cast additions, GL is poised to rise again to greatness. Let's help keep the show on the air for another year by sending one Duracell battery to the address below, along with this 3x5 card, which you can print out.

If you know of viewers who have turned the Light off in the last several years, invite them to watch GL again. Share with them about the "battery" of pleas we are issuing to CBS.

What is the mailing address? Also if I were to use a standardized mailing envelope for this, I would assume 2-4 stamps would be sufficient?

Send a Duracell Battery to:

Guiding Light, c/o CBS-TV, 51 West 52nd St., New York, NY 10019

A 9-volt and the 3x5 card could be sent "snail mail" with 3 stamps from just about anywhere in the country. One magazine suggested keeping the battery attached to the bubble card.

I will do my part and help because another soap getting cancelled will be bad for all the soaps.

Damn I wished that the writers and EP would have took action awhile ago and GL hasnt been that bad lately.

The magazines have all asked that we send these directly to CBS. I have sent an example to each magazine in the hopes they will print this in their magazines. Again, please send them to CBS at the address I've provided for the greatest impact.

I think GL would make better use out of a dollar...

I actually think we should send them money. lol Is that legal?

Why Duracell? Shouldn't you send Energizer batteries instead?

Duracell is a Proctor & Gamble brand. We're helping P&G while demonstrating our desire to keep GL on the air.

Do they use Duracell batteries in the hand-held cameras? Just trying to be cost-effective here... :)
