What police force in daytime is the worst?

From a writer's point of view it's so hard to have one of your main characters get arrested for a crime they commited.

However I do have to say that Margo dropping charges after Paul admits to trying to attack Dusty with an axe was a bit laughable. Why didn't she arrest him for that?

Ann's still on the loose on B&B, police hasn't found her yet.

Y&R's Paul is a good detective but usually ends up sleeping with witnesses, suspects, and law office partners.

Ann was caught about 2 months ago. She had a brain tumor and left to get some medical and psychiatric help.

LOL - I guess that if Lt baker counts as a detective, he couldn't find his ass with heat-seeking radar.

You guys mean Pam right? Ann is Stephanie's mom, played by Betty white, that "sweet old" delusional woman couldnt hurt anyone... but I bet even a sickly 80-something could elude Lt. Baker

GH is definately up there on the list of bad police forces. It's seems like the purpose of the police's corruption and incompetence on GH is to make Sonny and Jason look good and keep them out of prison.

Entire post is hilarious. That's one thing I've noticed about the Bell soaps...never a large amount of doctors and police, and never is there much action surrounding a hospital or police station. Whereas on AMC, the hospital is seen almost every freaking day.

I've noticed that too. I think AMC shows the hospital as much as GH right now.

Haha this is a funny topic. Of course it's gonna Port Charles Police Department. Nobody ever calls 9-1-1 in that city, they just simply call Jason or Sonny. It's ridiculous.

That's true... It is sad that AMC, which is a soap not about a hospital, shows more HOSPITAL then General Hospital, which IS a show about hospital....

AMC has had a strong hospital presence for a while, at least for the past 10 years. They added some new sets to it this year and I think they want to get the most out of them. Also helps that they brought back 4 doctors from the past

too bad they couldn't lend their hospital sets to GL :P

You know what would make a great fan-fic? If all the police commissioners on daytime meet each other at a seminar to discuss the right way to deal with crime. The seminar could be called "How to deal with crime in small towns that for some reason are home to the headquarters of major corporations" :)
