More expert trolling by Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.

While the Democratic National Convention continues in Chicago, she and Tim Walz flew to Milwaukee [location of the Republican Convention] and are holding a rally at the same venue the RNC was held at.

And, like Chicago, the place is jam packed!

This is great, West Virginia's oldest and youngest delegates, 83 and 18, casting their votes together for Kamala Harris:

Jack Schlossberg, son of Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg, was a speaker at the DNC, much like his Uncle John back in 1988:

Doug Emhoff gave a lovely speech. The video package introducing him from his son was also great. Michelle is up now!

Michelle's speech is already going very hard.

I believe this is the full roll call (though they unforgivably cut the Lil Jon Georgia intro which is already upthread):

This is definitely the most fun roll call I've ever seen.

As a DC/MD hometown boy I am very proud they played DJ Kool's "Let Me Clear My Throat" for DC's vote.

I didn't realize Sean Astin did the roll call for Indiana. And Wendell Pierce for Louisiana!

Here's someone I never expected to see again.

John Edwards might be a shitheel, but he never gets credit for predicting that the WWC would turn away from the Democratic Party before most everyone else.  If they had listened to him instead of pursuing his "baby mama drama," things might've been different.

He made himself totally radioactive, to be fair. The stories about his downfall in Game Change would curl your hair. He could've had it all and he destroyed himself with his repugnant behavior.

Won't argue with you there, lol.

Meanwhile, I think his story - disgraced politician goes into business/private practice with his daughter - has the seeds for a really good, one-hour dramedy.
