Members S&BFanForLife
I just finished watching this weeks' episodes. ITA. Did they send Guza on a beer run on something? I really enjoyed this week. They unloaded so much history, I was about to go into cardiac arrest. Scrubs and Spixie Today's cliffhanger ROCKED!! Now that's what I'm talking about. Members dc11786
I don't ususally watch "General Hospital", but I really enjoyed what I saw today. I will say, Kin Shriner really impressed me with the way he played his scenes. I felt as if they were written for him to be vindicitive and cruel (especially telling Laura about Luke and Tracey's marriage), but Shriner played them with so much heart. It was KILLING Scott to see Laura in pain. I think Shriner is saving this stuff from being Scott as the bad guy keeping Laura and Luke apart. As a result, this material seemed really interesting. Does Lulu know that Luke raped Laura? I thought Lucky learned as a result of Liz's rape storyline. I thought the scenes on the plane between the siblings were really well done. A lot of good subtext in those scenes, but I did wish there was more of a sense of the rape in these scenes. BTW, Genie Francis looks amazing! Intrigued by the stuff between Claudia and her father. I felt bad for the character even though my understanding is that most people haven't enjoyed the character's presence. I thought her brother Johnny's eyebrows seemed to be out of the Drake Hogenstyn school of acting. The dynamic between the Zacchara family seemed rather interesting, but I could also see where the show could play it to death rather quickly, if that makes any sense. Robin and Patrick's wedding was nice. I've watched "Guiding Light" for so long I had forgotten that soaps still do church weddings. I thought it was all really well done and I did chuckle at the "doctor in the house" line. A cheap joke, but it worked for me. I agree about the cliffhangers. Really well done.
