Wow...Friday and Monday so far, have been great.

But the wedding would have been a even bigger hit, if guns and death haven't been the theme for GH for that pasts 2 years. If the violence was spread out and not the dominant theme, it would have been more impactful but instead Kates shooting is just the norm so it really has no true emotional effect.

Obviously Kate is working overtime to accumulate as many bullet scars as Sonny since this IS the second time she's been shot THIS year. First time being shot by Sonny's son Michael (accidentally), and now this. And her previous shooter was shot and rendered permanently comatose. LOL.

Anyway, whatever. I like Olivia and Maxie still. That's it.

    • When they set the black and white picture of The Articulettes on the coffee table, I wonder if we will see flashbacks of Anita, Tracy, Sharon, and Barbara when they were younger in Chicago.
    • As long as no names were directly mentioned, it's a bit of a harmless lie, but you are right that she could have just heard something, or someone said that to her at the time rather than just saying the story wasn't popular and she was being written out. Or it could have been true, of course.
    • I hope so!   Despite allegedly being on the show for several years, Neil Wade got a total of ONE paragraph in the Laguardia book.   Paraphrasing, it said, Neil Wade (Michael Lipton) "helped Penny put her life back together after Jeff's death", "was a physician who didn't practice medicine for personal reasons" (didn't know that), "opened a bookstore with Penny" (sounds right), "planned to adopt a baby with Penny who couldn't have children" (sounds right), "began losing his vision and was struck and killed" (who knows?), and then Penny ultimately moved to Europe and married the racecar driver and adopted an Asian baby named Amy (sounds right).  And that was it.
    • Why do I feel whatever BLQ has planned will blowup in her face?
    • Given Kim's penchant for drama, her love of drinking wine, being more of a guy's girl, and coming across as a bit of a narcissist, I could see this being a memory mistake, an assumption, or hearsay or rumor someone told her without any backing.  I can't see her out and out lying on purpose, so part of me thinks there was smoke somewhere, whether true or false, and she believed some mistake, if incorrect or misremembered.
    • I loved this too!

I liked that they set up Shanice as a part-time physical therapist. It gets her out of the nurse's station and gives her more to do. I'm interested in seeing if we follow Anita to Chicago or if she's truly going to be off-screen for a while until we see the Articulettes' reunion. Overall slower day today, though.
    • I still say this is Frank's way of saying goddbye to JJ, who brought nothing to the show and was a complete dud for his entire return. He's purposelY been given an awful exit. Is this all Jackson's fault? Most likely not, but I place most of the blame on him. Too many contract demands, too much working around his travel schedule, too many stories he refused to do. GH has WAY too many actors calling the shots and influencing story and hires. We've seen it hurt the show time and time again.
    • Yeah, like others have said, Paul took it home for me today. We'd be so lucky to have him back for good.
    • I really like the scenes between Dani and Andre today.  Regardless of where this goes or who they end up with.  For now I appreciate that they have honesty with one another.  There's deep truth and vulnerability.  More than before.
