Discuss the good and bad goings on in L.A. this week......

Classic Clip: March 1990 - After Stephanie sees Eric and Beth Logan together, she assumes Beth is the other woman. Stephanie pays Brooke a visit at the lab to have a little chat ... of course, Brooke doesn't tell her the truth ...

Classic Stephanie in the video. And we even got classic Stephanie today. I really don't know where this Donna thing is going. I don't know how Eric would take her back and Stephanie even saw Donna/Owen before he did. So I don't know what she could even try to do.

The Rick/Taylor scene was very random. It was just stuck in there towards the end on a day that was essentially all about the Eric/Donna story.

These days without Katie/Nick/Bridget are so much better.

I agree, Nick/Katie/Bridget need to be relaxed a bit, it's been overload with those three, they're off on their own little island and it's dullsville.

Classic Stephanie today. There is chemistry between Flannery and McCook that cannot be beat. I also enjoyed how Thorne and Felicia were included as well. The Forresters acting as a unit is the best.

I really hope Donna and Stephanie get into it, I'm desperate to see someone go through a window (like Brooke did when Kimberly pushed her through her office windows years ago)...it had better be Donna.

But where is LAD's storyline? That woman needs something to do and it should be fashion related, the show needs to get back to it's fashionable roots, Brad hasn't really done anything fashion heavy since the early 2000s.

Donna: "Oh, you’re not going to get your way this time, Stephanie. I will get my husband back and you’re not going to stop me. *Pause* You will NOT STOP ME. "

When Donna paused and repeated "stop me," I was like, "That's Janice Ferri!" - then the credited rolled and I was right. The ending dialogue was very old school Y&R. LOL

I hope that once the dust settles with Eric, Donna, Stephanie and the Forresters that Eric leaves Donna and they put Beth in the mix. She hasn't impressed me at all as the character of Beth but it's time they give her something to do and go toe-to-toe with Stephanie and go for Eric.

Ugh, do they really have to revisit Brooke trying to cause trouble for Taylor and Jack. It was bad enough the last time

I hope Eric does divorce that slut of a wife of his. Id rather he reunite with Stephanie

The problem with Eric and Stephanie IMO is that it's an endless cycle over the years. Stephanie does something nasty Eric doesn't approve of. Eric looks elsewhere and falls for someone else. Eric divorces Stephanie. Stephanie starts on her "we're meant to be together" spiel (ignoring the fact that they were divorced from the time Rick was an infant until he was in his teens). Eric and Stephanie reunite. Rinse, wash, repeat. If they're going to get them back together, don't make it a temporary thing, and make it in a way that acknowledges that both of them have made their share of mistakes in their relationship. Let them grow as a couple rather than fall back into the same old rut. And if they can't do that, then keep them apart as friends, confidants and former lovers who know each other intimately but just aren't meant to be married.

Anyone getting a terrible sense of deja vu? ALL the stories on there air right now are repeats of stuff they already did. Once again Brooke is feeling that Taylor isnt bonding with Jack, so she's trying to take him away from her. We already had that earlier this year. Once again Stephanie is fighting some skanky Logan woman for Eric's affections. Thats been done to death. And once again Bridget's husband cheats on her with a family member who he gets pregnant. It sucks that there isnt at least one original story on the air

I agree that everything feels recycled. However, (and I know I harp on this) I'd still rather have this than the NBK triangle.

I was disgusted by Donna's note just because that means that this isn't over and Eric appears to still like her. So it's the same thing all over again.

I think they could explore the relationship between Rick and Brooke if they continue to have Brooke go after Jack.

We need something else with Jackie or Beth that isn't a rehash of what we've been seeing.

Im surprised Brooke hasnt had a scene with Bridget yet. She found out her world was devastated last week and was sup pissed off at Katie and Nick, yet she doesnt go and see how Bridget is?

I liked that Beth went to see Eric. Just common sense to me. I wonder what Stephanie's look was about after Beth left. Hmmmm. Old rivalry? I wouldn't mind that being recycled, since both women would be older and more mature.

I'm enjoying getting a Taylor story even if it is a repeat.

    • Addie was just a presence she was talking to... till December 22, 1991. At least that's how I've noted it to myself months ago.
    • Considering his family was involved with Mike Horton in the past, I feel like they'll make him Mike's son and Jeremy's half-brother. Just my guess, and unfortunately it makes me wonder if we're in for another Charlie / Tripp situation where it'll end up being a case of mistaken identity. Just my gut feeling and not based on spoilers.
    • With the recent Kate Mansi directing going on at GH, I was wondering what other performers also did double duty on their shows? I guess we could also talk about folks like James Hougton that wrote for Bell shows after he appeared in them (he did do double duty on Knots though). Off the top of my head I think Marie Masters wrote at ATWT while also playing Susan, Correct me if I am wrong, but didn’t she do more than scripts too? Did Gillian Spencer appear on AMC as Daisy while writing there? Susan Flannery probably stayed at B&B so long because she got to direct there too. Tony Geary and his writing partner submitted stories for Luke and Laura’s return and the Endgame Cassadine one that he later said was none of what they planned. But that’s not the same as writing for the whole show, or directing. Apologies if there is another thread about this topic, I couldn’t find it!

Good! I wish the bish was aborted too!
    • Unfortunately, @Vee will never achieve the success of JFP. She’s got 11 Emmys. Remind me how many Emmys you have?
    • Since Mansi did direct, I think it puts the lie to those who say Frank V doesn't like her and would like to get rid of her.
    • Whew Kat went to hell with that last line lol.   Colby and Ambyr are so great as rivals

date: Wednesday, November 19, 2025 | Ron Carlivati, Jazmen Darnell Brown | Michael V. Pomarico Not Dana letting Vernon know that she is aware of his presence at the Bowman. No bueno. She cannot handle keeping things to herself for a period of time. Spoilt bitch, no offence, but I cannot stand you. You are getting everything you deserve. I like that Ted is not willing to take sides in Eva's battle with her sister. That is smart. As much of a problem as I have had with Martin since day one, I appreciate him seeing Eva as she is: his sister. So refreshing. Not Anita overhearing Dana and Vernon's conversation. How unfortunate. I love how happy Martin is for Eva. That is what a sibling does! And speak on it: the spoilt bitch needs to shut her trap before someone (Eva) shuts it for her. Aw, how cute is it that Andre and Dani are re-exchanging vows? Just a shame it will not last when Dani goes back to Bill and Andre goes to Ashley. And he said the four-letter word! Eva and Martin's banter is so cute; I love that she offered to talk to Samantha, whom she formed a bond with at one point in time doing her hair. And her face when the spoilt bitch made her presence known is how I feel whenever she shows up, opens her mouth, and acts like she is God's gift to the DMV. "Well, not anymore," get her, Eva. GET HER! Yesssssss. Anita has a vivid imagination? Ooh-la-wee! Anita, let us in on it. Please. Why do I feel like Dana is not talking to Ted about Peaches but about what Vernon is [supposedly] doing with Sharon? Hmm. Wow... I am surprised. It IS about Peaches. Colour me surprised. Ooh! I am so happy that Martin overheard the spoilt bitch wish Dana had "gotten rid" of Eva. Let her have it, sir! DO IT! Notes: Right when I thought I would catch a break after writer2 yesterday, today we are stuck with the writer. At least, like Danielle Paige yesterday, we have one of this soap's best scriptwriters (Brown) writing. I am sorry, but this soap's take on half-siblings or even step-siblings is very off-putting, as if they are less than full-blooded siblings, when in reality they are as special and important. The food at Uptown definitely rivals Orphey Gene's; it does look absolutely delicious and comforting. Sean Freeman (Andre) showed up today with the emotional pull. I knew he had it in him, and it is beautiful to see at the hands of Brown's scripted words.
