I get the online version every Friday. That's still 2-3 days after it hits the news stands (which is ridiculous) but better than waiting a whole week. And it doesn't cost much.

Honestly, there is so much news online now...I think I may drop it.

I'm sick of Y&R covers, especially with Eric Braeden on the cover. C'mon SOD, there are other soaps on the air besides Y&R and Eric Braeden is NOT the only man on the show!

how do you get it online? I have checked out the site but there is no link and my mail copy has been getting to me a week after it is in the stores!

If you are a print subscriber, you actually have to CANCEL the print subscription and then start the digital one.

You know, though, that they use Braeden for the same reason as they use Marcil. Evidence has shown that these covers move magazines. The covers no longer make any semblance of trying to be fair. They only put on what moves copies.

Braeden also has a FIRM condition: He will ONLY do interviews when he gets the cover. ONLY. Since he is always eminently quotable, and he moves issues....we see him a lot.

If you call or send an e-mail, they'll apologize for the delay, swear it's your postmaster. Then you may get it on time for two weeks, and it'll go back to being late again.

I love how I get mine late every week until it's time for me to renew. Then I get them early. Once I re-sign, they come late again.

But SOW is WAY worse than SOD when it comes to getting an issue late. I get those 2 weeks late, EVERY WEEK!

I guess the mailing is handled by a fulfillment house in Florida...so the actual magazine isn't really to blame.

But I am appalled that the DIGITAL edition might also be late. That is just bad management.
