Tika did her job today! Girlfriend was ON IT!

As much as I loved Tika's acting, though, I have to slap Layla down a few pegs for the way she was treating Vincent's random honey. It was established from the get-go that old girl had no clue that Vincent was involved with Layla or anyone else, yet Layla was treating her like she was some kind of home wrecker. Way to be a hater, Layla!

I feel like I have to seriously scarf down on some crow. Layla/Vincent were the most interesting thing about today's show. It goes to show you that human drama, even if it just falls out of no-fricken-where can still be more exciting than time traveling, jewel-thieving bullshit. I really wish the Layla/Vincent thing had been played out more over the last few weeks or even months. Vincent had some valid reasons for stepping out on her...she has been spending much too much time being Adriana's bitch. I'm only sad that I missed the stuff with Layla/Brody.

I am so disappointed. I allowed myself to dream that Blair going to Todd's was going to be a part of some scheme she and John cooked up to find out about the mystery woman that John's been searching for! <_<

Thanks Ron! Revert to the same old tired and boring jealousy routine.

Pure speculation which is safe since I've proven I am always wrong. Todd's going to say something to Blair about not being able to give the mystery woman the nightie now that it's been on Blair's diseased body. It will have to be burned. Haaaate!

I loved Vikki's going away party. Todd questioningVikki about the breaks and asking Natalie if someone was trying to killer was great. He cut right to the chase, but everyone just ignored him, thinking it was just Todd being a doom and gloomer as usual. Even better was Tess trying to distract him and feeding him cheese (or whatever that was) in the background. I think Todd will realize Tess is back eventually. She isn't doing that good a job of hiding it, but no one else wants to see it. I'm glad Vikki asked Jared how Charlie was doing.

I love that Blair is trying to find out who the sick ass bastard has stashed away upstairs. Putting on a nightie does not make her a slut. I am sure Todd will have lots of horrible things to say to her that will have the audience cheering him on, even though he is a psychotic sicko making googly eyes at the woman he gang raped. I am so glad Blair is with John now, and I hope she never goes back to this dude again.

Tina and Viki ... finally. That made my day!

My 2nd fave part, though, was Tess calling Dorian a bitch!

I thought Tess feeding Todd by hand was really weird.

I loved how everyone in the room was at odds with each other until Dorian walked in and they all ganged up on her. LMAO.

I never want her to go back to Todd either. But she's not with John. And John is only marginally better than Todd IMO. I have to see where it goes, and whether or not John will be different with Blair than he was in previous relationships. If he's just going to stand by and take the path of least resistance and follow Blair's lead, then he's simply not man enough for her. Blair needs an equal, and IMO that will be hard to find. A man that is man enough to stand up to Blair without trying to dominate her. I just don't see John being that man.

It was weird, no doubt about it, but it cracked me up. It seemed like a Tess thing to do. In reality, I wonder if it was something Bree and TSJ did kidding around, not realizing the camera was on them. It was such a quick shot and they weren't the focus. Either way, it made me laugh.

    • While I do love the chaotic energy that is Kat vs Lesile, it is a bit extra. Sheltered, virginal Kat who plays it safe from her man to her wardrobe understands that Leslie is dangerous, but she's out here showing up everywhere and anywhere that Lesile is to be found and actively going to places where she is alone? I mean Kat doesn't even act a little afraid or intimidated by Leslie. Meanwhile, big Ole Derek out here begging for his and Ashley's life to Jacob.  As for Dani, I didn't see it that way. Dani and Bill were together for 30 years and shared a family. I believe there was real love there at one point. Bill is still an ass and Dani is still crazy, but realizing she may lose him and her daughter's may lose their dad definitely struck a chord.
    • Funny I randomly saw Kami’s lengthy post about the 44th anniversary of the Walton’s finale last week pop up in my news feed on Facebook. A few inaccuracies to her post but overall it was pretty insightful and interesting to read.
    • Well, depending on rewrites...Jennifer Richards potentially slept with Brandon and Alan. It does feel like we're forgetting someone, but then again, maybe I'm confusing that with brothers, which would include a lot more.
    • Maybe it’s me, and the fact that RC isn’t at the helm, but since Cwikly and Ford have taken over I’ve noticed the show doing a lot of things differently directing wise, and since the storyline of John’s demise began, the show has been using different scores, and dare I say better ones than this time last year. It’s interesting and I wonder if the any of it is Noel Maxam’s influence before being promoted.
    • I think Nicole is about to figure out what's going on between Andre and Dani.
    • @Efulton thank you. I don't know how I missed it or didn't recall it.  I'll blame amnesia . Anyway @Errol Could the newer thread be merged to the existing? Thanks in advance.
    • I just finished watching and I have to admit, not once did I find myself wondering who wasn't there. Quick question for anyone who followed this better than I did: was it only Andrew who rescued Cat and John from Clyde, or was Shane involved too? The reactions during their scenes today felt a little off to me. I know it was meant to be vague, but I didn't find it strange that they already knew each other.
    • Yeah, financially, Luna is in better shape than Deacon and Sheila.   -- Scott Clifton must have decided to chew the scenery in every scene of this "Liam is Dying" storyline. Yikes.
    • If J.R. wasn't busy with Ewing Oil, he'd be a heckuva soap recapper. He was SO gleeful at recapping Jenna-Bobby-Pam when the trio and Mark encountered each other at the Oil Baron's Ball. That being said, Lucy, presumably Sue Ellen and maybe Ray should all know this story, or at least part of it. Lucy was definitely at Southfork during Jenna and Bobby's relationship, and I believe Sue Ellen was about to marry J.R. around the time Jenna jilted Bobby. (Ray might not have given a damn.)
