Toups, in a nutshell.....Maria and her mother were run out of Texas when Asa found out that Maria was pregnant with Clint's baby. Years and years later (1986), Tina, looking for revenge against Clint, intercepted a letter from Maria to Clint. I forget the details, but Maria needed Clint for something....but Clint had no idea that Mria had his baby years ago. Anyway, Tina went to Texas to see if this Maria situation was anything she could use against Clint, and found Maria married to Al Roberts and that they had a son, Cord. Tina put two and tow together and figured out that Cord was really Clint's son and married him! Naturally, Maria hated Tina with a passion and their scenes together were campy fun! I still have much of this era on tape! Anyway, Maria followed C&T to Llanview after Al Roberts died where she found Clint. Her love for him had never ended! She plotted and schemed with Allison Perkins (resulting in the Jess is not a Buch story years later), tried to rid Cord of Tina, and most of all, she tried to get rid of Viki. None of her schemes worked. Cord found out about all of Maria's tricks and schemes during the year she was in Llanview and disowned his mother. Maria, who was unstable before, now lost her mind and plotted to kill Viki with poison and frame Tina for the murder. Of course, her plan went awry!

I LOVED BarBara Luna as Maria! OMG, she was so over the top!!! But OLTL had yet to fully cross over in to the campfest it became in 1988.

Thanks, Dale! That sounds fantastic! I think I really would've enjoyed that era.

Life with Bonnie.

I liked that show, it was pretty funny. I remember an episode where the whole family was fighting with a squirrel LOL!

Now to get back on topic, Todays episode was great, other then Mendorra(Who the heck wrote that piece of garbage?). And now I wish Erin would come back, Bree is hot, but Erin is just so natural on screen and Bree isn't IMO. Her chemistry with ES is also stronger.

I don't really mind Bree, but Erin will always be Jessica to me. And seeing her on the show again with ES didn't help IMO.

I was afraid this was going to happen. I have accepted Bree and love her as Jess and I also realzie that had Jessica Tuck been able to be there, Erin wouldn't have and this whole thing may not have started up. Long live Bree Williamson....and she's hot. :) Erin is a little Amanda Bakerish.

Please, don't compare Erin with Amanda Baker. :) That's just funny.

But I just adore Bree in the role. That's who Jessica is now and who she should be. B)

I see where your sorta coming from, but I disagree. Erin can come off a little sugary sweet at times, but unlike Baker she can play the bitch or slut when she needs to. Baker is just bad and when ever she's on I feel like she's uncomfortable and doesn't know what she's doing.

the last two days have been wonderful (except for the waterfall storyline, which I could have done without)

funny that the promos all say there are 3 main storylines--Viki dying, the waterfalls, and Bo/Rex in 1968... to me, Dorian seeing Mel again was just as big a story--and every bit as moving (maybe more so) than Viki seeing Ben. Is it me, or does Dorian really get no respect? No wonder Dorian has such a Jan-Brady complex!

This was a great show, although I find it hard to believe Cord is just 40 years old. And I loved seeing RealJess back. This was like seeing an old friend and you are like "Jessica! I haven't seen her in ages!" and I am glad the imposter wasn't on today. I would swap back to ET in a heartbeat.

I meant she was ugly

Sorry but Erin T. just doesn't cut it on screen...I can't get past those Mr. Ed horseteeth...I want visuals and acting when I watch a soap. It's like Amelia Heinle...Just too many teeth; too much mouth.
