Oh wow. Well they might as well have him leave with his mistress and move on. Dare I say it but Yasmin can go too. I only care about Zeedan and Alya anyways. Move them into an apartment in Victoria Court and move on.

I like Yasmin (Alya has potential but the whole thing with Jason and Gary seemed to hurt her character), but I won't be shocked if she does go. That would suck for the actress though...

It would suck for the actress but what can they do for Yasmin? I don't mind Yasmin but I never took to her like I did Alya and Zeedan. I did take to Sharif but clearly the actor is unhinged at the moment. 

 

Maybe they'll Yasmin find her a new love, and I'll actually grow to have some feeling for her. 

 

They just need to do something with that entire family. Especially, Zeedan. That man is too sexy to not be boning everything walking.

The show has a lot of attractive, charismatic men in that age range who are so ill-served, especially as the women are so dreary in comparison. This is one time wehre making a lot of men gay or bi would not be the worst idea.

I think Gary and Zeedan are the must underutilized. I do think that they may be about to entertain a Sarah/Gary romance, which I can see myself getting behind. 

 

I'm glad that Luke is being showcased in Maria's story, but I don't want him to be attached to her a second longer. Like I've been saying for the longest, I hope they make him a lothario, who enjoys the single life with no strings. 

 

I with they'd give us more Steph/Andy too.

They could do a lot with Steph and Andy, as they're both so attractive and such decent people (well Andy is now, anyway). 

 

I even think Chesney would be alright with the proper material - maybe a relationship with Gemma.

I'm on the fence with Chesney. Some days I enjoy him. Other days I don't. I could see him and Gemma together. 

 

I just feel like Corrie needs to clean house. More than ED, HO, or EE. They seriously need to plan another big ass stunt to wipeout a bunch of people.

I agree. There are some posters at Digital Spy who talk about how the show's real problems are with Kieran Roberts, who oversees the show and is likely why nothing ever really changes.

I agree with many of the axing choices people are putting out there. And what's the point of having Kate there is Kieran won't allow her to do anything. 

 

And they wonder why Corrie has been stagnant for the longest.

I happy this means this random affair nonsense will end sooner rather than later. This isn't much of a loss at all. I wouldn't be mad if Oates got rid of Cathy/Alex, and eventually paired Roy and Yasmeen. Plus, since the story came out of nowhere, the outcome could have always been to break up the Nazir marriage for good anyway. 

 

I just hope this makes Zeedan give up his beliefs, at least when it comes to sex. I want that body on parade, stat!

I wouldn't mind Yasmeen and Roy either as I haven't quite warmed up to Cathy/Alex. I (too) can do w/o them. 

 

(re: Zeedan) That would be a story I could get behind. Zeedan losing faith in his religion and marriage, which stems from his grandfather's infidelity, thus leading to him losing his virginity. Plus, it would lead to us seeing that body!

If he has to fall into prostitution, so be it. The ends greatly justify the means in this case.

Matt Milburn was so good on Hollyoaks...why do soaps keep wasting him? Do I need to petition Kirkwood to bring Joe back from the dead?

It'll be nice to see him. My time watching HO only started near the end of his tenure, but I liked him on Emmerdale as well. In the current world where recurring characters are lasting longer these days, it's a shame he couldn't still be in the Dales.
