May 16, 200817 yr Member Maybe Danielle Faraldo is tired? She's directed 10 episodes out of the last 15. Why is Frank working her so hard? Maybe. Or maybe it is because the other director is doing the location shots which have been great. How many different directors are there usually on a soap? Edited May 16, 200817 yr by Gordon24
May 16, 200817 yr Member Ron needs to give Starr her personality back. If anything, I thought she had it back today, when she asked for her Mom.
May 16, 200817 yr Author Administrator Maybe. Or maybe it is because the other director is doing the location shots which have been great. How many different directors are there usually on a soap? OLTL has 6 main directors: Larry Carpenter, Bruce S. Cooperman, Gary Donatelli, Danielle Faraldo, Richard Manfredi, Jill Mitwell And 2 occasional directors: Mary Ryan, Frank Valentini It makes no sense to have Danielle direct 10 out of 15 episodes. Most shows have about 6-8 directors.

I usually love the direction and I am loving OLTL but IMO it was just off today. Of course I am the only one that is mentioning it so I could be the one that is OFF!lol Anyway, I cannot wait until tomorrow's Friday Cliffhanger episode it looks like it is going to be a doozy!!
May 16, 200817 yr Author Administrator One of which was mentioned specifically for the remote scenes today. Donatelli, I think It was Larry Carpenter who did the remotes.
May 16, 200817 yr Member It was Larry Carpenter who did the remotes. Thanks. Anyone who thinks this episode was substandard needs to take a second or third look. It was a perfect THURSDAY leading into a Friday.
May 16, 200817 yr Member Brody and Layla would be hot....but I wouldn't mind Jessica and Brody. Jessica's gonna need some lovin' now that Nash is gonna be six feet under (we all know Forbes is leaving, how he leaves is unknown). That or Jessie can channel her inner lesbian and start muffing it up with someone in town. I am all for a leyla/Brodie/Jess triangle. i want Tessica back. I love jess when shes kinda a bitch, but still jessica. and i am all for some how JessTalia action.. and im gay! Lol, I totally want some male bitchy bangs. Then I could embrace my inner bitch like Adrianna. Ryan, keep in mind when i tell you this that i you... NO. men cant rock the bangs. they just cant. sure you do the extended ceser cut and thats kinda bangish.. but not enough for bitchy bangs. tho i could be wrong, more shcoking things have happened like... well i cant think of any but im sure they have. I never knew that Brittany Underwood auditioned for the role of "Hannah Montana." I don't think I could ever see her as pop idol sensation. Really? I could so see her as hannah Montana to be honest.
May 16, 200817 yr Member If anything, I thought she had it back today, when she asked for her Mom. Where's the Starr that put piranhas in Max's tub? I agree, I miss that fiery Starr. Not this bland wanna be heroine. Thanks Dena btw! Amen. Starr should be with someone fun like Markko.
May 16, 200817 yr Member Loved this exchange- Bo: Rex is not David "Leave you at the altar" Vickers Dorian: How dare you! The Rex and Gigi moment at the hosptial was very soapy imo Edited May 16, 200817 yr by Laurie
May 16, 200817 yr Member Damn this was a good episode. Very suspenseful. I loved the stuff with Blair/John/Todd/Starr/Cole, and I don't really love those characters. The wedding was the real fun though. Viki and Marcie's nano-second exchange was funny, and Dorian talking to Gigi was great. I can't wait for Monday!!
May 16, 200817 yr Member Okay so i actually got the chance to watch OLTL today, and i really enjoyed it....Farah is doing a fantastic job with this new role and Rex & Gigi are one hot couple..I can't tune in full time, but i'll try to watch the wedding aftermath next week..
May 17, 200817 yr Author Administrator Just finished watching the episode and my jaw literally dropped when Todd accidently threw Starr down the stairs!! Damn, I love Ron Carlivati's Friday cliffhangers! He's done it again! And finally, the wedding started!! Monday's episode looks so good! Hopefully I'll be home so I can live post. LOL That's two fantastic weeks in a row! Next week will be three in a row. Keep up it, OLTL!!
May 17, 200817 yr Member Another great Friday episode. The Starr/Todd/Cole scenes were so intense! I can't wait to see what happens Monday! I love how Roxy brought chinese food to throw at Rex and Adriana! Viki: Roxy, when you throw rice at a couple, it's not supposed to be cooked. LMAO
May 17, 200817 yr Author Administrator I'm also starting to really like Brody and liked how he told Gigi he would be there for her and the baby even though the kid wasn't his. Signs of a great guy. If he stays on the show, the Rex/Gigi/Brody triangle should be good.
