what I don't understand why they just didn't dress the old Colby in more grown up clothes & do her hair in a little more grown up way.

I would rather they keep Colby as a teenager and go with a Cassandra/Dre/Colby triangle....either way, Frankie and Colby just will not match as a couple since her cousin is Frankie's son. It seems incestuous

I am going to feel so sorry for her once she loses Kathy to Tad since she is Kate. Julia has endured loss in her life before with Noah, her father, and having to lose contact with her family by being in The Witness Protection Program. Poor Julia!

If Ghost!Dixie weren't such a Puff Taddy prop this would be hilarious.

ITA! Also if she weren't so damn annoying, and if the writing weren't slanted as always in favor of Adam=evul Tad=all that is good and pure

Opal, Adam & Dixie were hilarious together.

Jesse, Hazel & Tad were almost as entertaining as the three of them.

I love the chemistry between Greenlee & Zach, too.

I thought NuColby was okay. She looks a lot like Ambyr and I was surprised that she doesn't seem that much older.

I think NuColby is more "mature" looking, like about 20, but now acts like a dresses & acts like a teen! I think before you know it, NuColby, will in college, & looking & acting more "grownup"!

I guess because its an immediate recast and they don't want people confused seeing Ambyr in there. Sounds like another good show today.

Haven't been here in a while. Love the AMC discussion here. I just got into the show and I'm already loving it. Its different from many soaps in the sense that its more realistic and lively.

I like the new Colby. She seems just like Ambyr just with a slightly more tolerable voice. The two seemed interchangeable and I didnt see any big difference between the two.

I was surpised though that we didnt here the voice saying that "The role of Colby Chandler will now be played by....."

Julia got the "Krystal" I noticed that she is now sporting the same haircut that Krystal has. Looks nice on her but better on Krystal

I enjoyed the Zach and Greenlee scenes...NuColby looks like old Colby...lol

I'm glad you're enjoying it, but "realistic and lively" are two words I'd never associate with AMC.

I am one to say that I support Krystal and the Tad/Krystal/Jesse/Angie friendships

I do think whatevr amc does in the way they film does give it a much more livly look.

nuColby fails so hard. can we say blahhh much? jeez.
