Kelley Michelle Hensley was Fabulous in 2007 with Emily's rape and her meltdown with Susan and honestly, after the snub I knew she was gonna get a nod for this material

Heather Tom was Great during Stephanie shooting so I knew she was gonna get a nod also

Overall, I see Kelley or Heather taking it.

The supporting noms are actually pretty decent. I was hoping for a nom for Billy Miller. He was a real catch and definitely one of the best newcomers of the year. Hickland was robbed and I would've dumped Evans in place of her.

I love JEL to death, but what did she do this year to warrant this nom?

And how does MM get screwed out of the excellent year she had?!

And what is the love affair once again with CBS?!

I really like Judi Evans, but I can't help but feel that nomination should've gone to someone else. Even if we're just talking Days actresses, Martha Madison would've made more sense, and then you figure in actresses on other shows ... I'm still happy for Judi though, I guess that's just the way the Emmys are.

(Beat to the punch by Roman, I see.)

Martha Madison and Deidre Hall deserved nominations and I'm saddened that they didn't.

I love Judi, I dunno how she got her nomination. I guess it will probably be the scenes from when she returned as Adrianne.

I love JEL too but I'd rather have MM. :(

Judi probably submitted the episode where Adrienne visited Steve in the looney bin.

Dee was robbed.

Judi... i actually think it would be from the end of mimi's storyline.

Judi over Martha is a surprise but, good for her. Just a stupid question but, can she submit scenes from both characters or does it have to be one single episode that is all Bonnie or Adrienne?

I'm surprised, but glad, that Judith Chapman wasn't nominated. She had her moments during the year, but enough of her over-the-top performances. I realize Glo is an over-the-top character, but like a lot of us mentioned in that Laura Wright thread from a couple of weeks back, it is possible to play an over-the-top character with some subtlety, and I just don't get that from her.

Judi's the big surprise here (imo). I even wondered why she got a pre-nom, when that list came out. Hey, I'm thrilled for her, I'm a big fan of hers....I don't think it's because she has "friends" in the business since she's been in daytime since 1983 and had some amazing material over the years, yet this is only her second nomination.

For the pre-nom list, do they even have to submit anything, other than their name?

Congratulations Judi!

To me, she was the most unexpected yet delightful surprise nominee of the Emmy annoucements.
