Shall We Dance Ryan

Oooh lordy he is now entering what could be one phase that his bug eyes will never ever forgot...the women of good ole Fusion doing some pole dancing as if they are some high class roller for dollars women out on Front Street turning tricks on the dock for a nickel a pop. Sheesh where is a weed whacker when you need one? But anyway, it is just so typical of him to stare in amazement at something that he will never have because thankfully these women have found decent men to give themselves to while Ryan has to stick it out with Annie while the rest stand strong in committed relationships. All that tongue wagging, drooling, bug eyed, constipated looks are all for nothing because not even a little pole dancing can get Ryan some LL Cool Rye Rye. I just want to know what the point is in having him come in to watch these women look as if they are choking their lollipops...are they trying to impress his holiness? Well that can be done without the dancing because all he wants for an impression would be your purse or your bank account because he is in love with conning you out of your money. Heck he probably made sure that a grandma back in his ConHO days paid him for a blowjob while he went and had a banana surgically installed over his whack whack that the old woman could not even bare to taste the difference in short comings and fruity fruit. That is how pathetic he will be. But thankfully there are some in this world who get those BJs without the assistance of money and yes I am talking to you Slick Willy. I guess Ryan figures that since he does not have any of the charisma, style, sense of humor, or intelligence of the 42nd president that he must get a down payment for rolling his sorry butt out there to offer up a little "snacky" sensation. Talk about creativity being in the dumps for good ole Dynamite Kiddo Whacko Backo Zappo Douche-acko. Anyone still got that weed whacker to do away with this moron? Be sure to chop off that whack whack first but it will be hard to find. Fish n Chips did some investigation on what makes Ryan such a pompous a$$. The solution? A doctor knocked out Ryan back in the ConHo days, had a "dick" of a time reducing the size of junior to a millimeter peter, and it ticked off his holiness so much that not even his pseudo doctor skills could repair the damage. That is the origins of the madness of his holiness Dynamite Kiddo Ryan Alo-Wish-Us-A-Miracle-Of-His-Death Lavery. Chop chop!

I gotta say I'm truly not looking forward to today's episode. I think I'll go to lunch, a nice long lunch with lots of wine. I could see the girls doing it for a littlel diversion, but exactly why are they stripping down to their undies in the office, even if they are pole dancing? Can't they do that with their clothes on. Really, the whole idea is just too stupid for words.

Because Greenlee suggested it, and Frons has a hard on for CM and RB??? It's NOT a coincidence RB mentioned in an interview she pole dances and now suddenly Greenlee is suggesting this

*eyeroll*

Of course they could do it with their clothes on, but then Frons couldn't get his jollies. I bet he'll make a copy of this to watch for his future enjoyment *barf*

I was embarrassed for all those girls and I turned it off. How sad that amc has resorted to selling sex and showing cleavage shots of these women just to get ratings. Well I guess they know how strippers feel without the 20 dollar bills down their panties. The only scenes I watched were erica/sam I think erica should take the deal 6 months its better than 5-10 years. I thought it was funny how pam and val were packing up erica's things, because she own that building and that val knew the correct way how to set up all of erica's lipsticks. I really hope sam is not involved in jesse's storyline, why must they always lump all the black people together, can't they have their own separate storylines???

It was so much worse than BAD *shudders* I guess they feel stupid stunts like this can distract from the craptastic writing *eyeroll*

Ryan leering at Kendall at the end while Annie is right beside him was all kinds of disgusting and insensitive

LOVE Dr. Joe's smackdown of Ryan when he told him to get over himself :D

Greenbitch just needs to DIE! So it's okay for her to flirt openly with Kendall's husband, but if Kendall even tried anything with HER man she'd kill her? WTF ever bitch.

Aidan can die too, wish Zach would kill him and do us all a favor.

LOVE when Tad mocks Aidan's accent.

The Ryan scenes were hilarious, the ones with Dr. Joe, I doubt that was their intention, but when he said he wanted electroshock therapy to shock his memories back I was rolling

They played the preview a gazillion times on Soapnet last night. It just looked embarrassing and cringeworthy, more so than the usual Fusion crap, and that's saying a lot. Does Frons actually think that this is what the target demo of women 18-49 really want to see? Sometimes when watching AMC I feel like I'm watching 2 different shows: (1) the Jesse/Angie stuff with passable writing, nods to history, and stellar performances, and (2) just about everything else. It just boggles the mind that Frons still has a job.

I think the Jesse/Angie stuff is the only thing keeping them above 2.0 in the ratings, but with the rest of the show in bad shape, I wonder how much longer they can maintain that. We're in friggin February sweeps, and the only stunt B&E can think of (probably to detract from the Jesse/Angie angst) is to have the girls pole dance and Mathison shirtless again. It's mind boggling. The whole ABC lineup is a disaster. AMC is horrible, unrecognizable, painful (feel free to plug in any other negative adjective you can think of...it would be appropriate). GH is mostly unwatchable. And I know this is blasphemous, but OLTL is a crashing bore. It's not really bad, just beyond dull, which is more of a sin than being bad. ABC daytime needs a huge facelift, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

It was unbelievably horrible. Those scenes of them dancing went on forever. So trashy, sleazy, exploitative and completely male-centric. They think they can get away with anything if one of the women says "this is empowering!"

    • I admit...I too thought of Penny and Good Times at that ending with SilkPress.
    • Yes, just so.  Thanks for the info. I could tell this was going to be a big thing with ShawnD in this danger! Especially love that the little guy is Andrew!
    • I think the shocker would be if he's NOT playing Dumas. That's where Josh Griffith plays most of his stories. Now they have Cole "self-isolating" because they don't want to put up that hospital set. Will Cole cough himself to death at the GCAC? What a "storyline." I can't believe how much JG is playing with us regarding Nick and Sharon. The teasing has become pathetic, especially for Shick fans who want them back together. My guess is that he'll reveal his real name once he is exposed.
    • Maybe we'll meet Leslie's mama who'll be a former Articulette and they'll build the rival family from there that a lot of people seem to think is missing. It'd make sense considering Anita's been hammering on about going on tour and reviving her music career.
    • hahaha at the Brennan shade.   But even I saw this and have to agree. What's really sad is that some of the person on that list could easily have a love interest that is on the canvas. They just need to be written for.
    • The thought has crossed my mind. Tricia Mann-Grant did say in her EW interview w/ MVJ and DD, that Leslie wants to be a Dupree just as bad as she wants Eva to be. I believe now that's the direction they are going in, that maybe she is just obsessed with the family. I could be wrong though.
    • True. But I have always had mixed feelings about that twist. Since I love the Damian storyline which already had twists and turns. Also I could not wait for a new powerful AND BLACK businessman to mix it up at some point with Victor. It just seem like another twist that was added on for twist sake. And also for a character (whether I love him or not) to hijack a new and refreshing storyline so they can be propped.    Once good thing that I can say about JG is that he loves to keep the Abbotts in rotation. So I could see that happening with Diane. I don't think she has mentioned her backstory, either. I would be intrigued.
    • That's how I feel. Beats could have been played for the past couple months wherein Dante and Gio interacted and had a difference of opinion -- or something. I don't know. I do know that this crushing rant that blames everything on Gio is absurd. -- Reading over all the comments here about characters and couples, it's kind of amazing that we have any show left considering the number of times actors and writers and execs were given influence to make major character and story decisions. Too many cooks in the kitchen.
