This show is jerking us around with Allison's secret! Does anyone have ANY idea what it is? If it affects Roxy, why is Allison taunting Jessica? And if Natalie isn't really a Buchanan, shouldn't Allison have taunted Natalie since it would impact her negatively? Why Jessica?

Today's Eppy was good but yeah Ramsey was creepy, loved that Gigi pulled the don't touch me and if you touch my son you will pay! Ramsey is continuing to build up his enemies, that is for sure.

Finally thought Cris and Sara eating cake naked was cute, I guess because no talking was involved :P

The writers certainly are, aren't they. From a TV Guide interview with the actress that plays Allison, she is sticking around and all of this has been prolonged so that our head writer RC can pen it himself. :)

Today Jessica said she knew the secret. Jessica asked to see the tape, did she see it and that is how she knows the secret or does she not know? *confused*

Shane and Matthew were funny today. Trying to sneak the champagne...saying that maybe Alison hid in the dirty laundry to sneak out  They reminded me of my cousin and his friends.

Chris and Sarah in those paper towel outfits-also found that funny

Does Jessica have a job? What does she do with her life? I never see her working. What happen to her journalism career if you can call it that. I think the reason she keeps coming up with these crazy schemes is bc she has absolutely nothing better to do with her life literally and has way too much time on her hands. Idiot needs to go pick up the Sun and check out the ads for a 9 to 5

Why would Ramsey want Gigi to stay in town?

Im really liking Jared as a Buchanan after this past week but it sucks bc I love him with Nat

LMAO at Cris and Sarah

Thank you, I rewatched on Soapnet and caught that, I like Jessica saying "you and your secret can go to HELL!" Ha, or until Allison wakes up :D

Jessica is a stay at home mom from what I have seen, she is supposed to work at the Banner but never there.

Ramsey wants Gigi to stay in Llanview so he can keep an eye on her and Shane to make sure she keeps the secret, plus he seems to be crushing on her. ICK!

I loved Layla's comment, "Uh huh, Are those my 3 ply paper towels!"

Viki and Nora's were my favorites as well. I thought all the women looked beautiful and the men handsome. It was interesting to see all the variations of red and different styles of dresses.

It was kind of slow, especially after Wednesday great show, and as much as I love Jared, I got SO tired of hearing over and over how much of a hero he was, just prolonged him coming clean. UGH.

    • Thursday & Friday's episodes were excellent. The build-up was most definitely worth the wait (2 months). TMG, I can't give her enough accolades. AM, was also absolutely incredible. I think the fallout is going to have a ripple effect. The little clues that have been dropped,  hopefully, will weave seamlessly to reveal even bigger bombshells for the Dupree's and Martin.
    • Thanks, msn drives me nuts on the one hand but on the other hand their headlines appeal to me. And, I just don't do FoxNews.  She is trolling this thread.
    • The link doesn't work.  The actual link is this: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/composer-leonard-bernstein-s-children-request-his-music-be-played-in-the-kennedy-center-in-rebuke-to-trump/ar-AA1E7gw5 That's a reprint of a FoxNews article. MSN reprints stuff from many sources. You can tell the source from the logo above the headline on the msn page. The FoxNews article is describing what Leonard Bernstein's children wrote -- as a "letter to the editor" of the New York Times. Instead of reading it filtered through FoxNews, here is the original: "Our Dad, Leonard Bernstein, Would Want His Music Played at the Kennedy Center" https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/02/opinion/kennedy-center-leonard-bernstein-protest.html Non-paywall archived copy of the same NYTimes letter, without commentary: https://archive.is/QaLqD
    • Might be a long shot, because I can't find a thing online about it, but I was Googling the actress that played Nell Cleary (Frank's cop friend that went through academy and then became cops together during the entire Brent Lawrence storyline). To my surprise, she passed away in 2011, at the very young age of 45. I can't find her obituary or anything online about her passing, but I'm curious, does anyone know what happened? Her IMDB only shows a few other acting gigs post-Guiding Light, so she didn't make a career out of it, but I thought she was a great actress in her role as Cleary. Her name was Mary Peterson.
    • What was Ruth Martin's association to the Thornton family?  I only remember the daughter that dated Tad, and she had a buxom mother.  But, did Ruth date David Thorton before Joe?

Why didn't Steve respect Monica and Jeff's decision?  I get he's Jeff's father, and that's how it came out, but I don't like the ethics of the story. A stranger gets to make life or death decisions over a wife's demands?   I hope Monica secretly never forgave Steve's chauvinism.
    • Question: Jon-Michael Reed's review of 1977 is up in the retro soap section.  It includes a fleeting reference to comedic scenes between Jeanne Cooper and Julianna McCarthy regarding “Kay's would-be beau, Ralph the Plumber”.  Could someone please fill me in will more details? I forgot that Kay and Liz were friendly before Jill stole Kay's husband.  And the thought of Liz playing a comedic scene blows my mind, because I only recall her being dour both in demeanor and wardrobe.
    • I said this on Twitter on Friday when Leslie mentioned Chicago, so perhaps she might be related to one of Anita's bandmates. In addition, Leslie did say she grew up listening to The Articulettes too.
    • There was a scene in the past week or two with Leslie looking at some papers and mementos, which included an invitation or souvenir from Alan's memorial service or funeral -- it was dated as November 2024. Me just guessing but it seems to me that Martin's nightmares about the accident are from something longer ago than November.
    • ah thanks! do you know who the third one was in the blonde? the fifth one i know ive seen before in the brown wig but i forgot, and then ive never seen the psychic one before lol
