I work alone. :D

Having only seen the first few acts after several tries because watching later on cbs.com is a pain in the ass, I was still able to make a few observations.

How in the world could Lucinda claim to have known Dusty longer than anyone at the funeral? Dusty was a boy in the days of Barbara, James, Ariel, Gunnar, John and Karen - long before she and Lily set foot in town.

I thought I had a hearing problem when Gwen told the babysitter she and Will would have their phones OFF for the duration of the service! While their newborn is in someone else's care! Not on vibrate, OFF. Oh, and "Hallie wanted some fresh air?" For real? A kid with just a few weeks of life under her belt expressed the need to escape a stuffy house for awhile, in January? If Sophie can do any better, by all means, give the child back. Then again, she's asking for the sitter's credentials instead of whisking Hallie out of the cold, pronto. <_<

How long does Barbara expect to let her persona be tainted by bad dental work? The most intuitive women in her life are noticing a problem, but still no acknowledgment from Will or Paul. It's likely that Gwen will mention it to her hubby, though. Do these guys at least notice when their spouses change hair colors? I hope we're going for a hat trick with Kim hearing the lisp next. You have to pull together in times of crisis, kiddo.

Emily's crying is one of the best things Kelley Menighan Hensley brings to her character. I used to LOVE it when Em would have panic attacks and freak out like nobody's business.

CBS.com is a pain to watch ATWT. I forgot the name of the other site that carries ATWT same day eppys too. It is much better and no pain in waiting for it to load up every 5 seconds. We can nitpick about the eppy. But I am glad to see so many vets back on. :D It warms my heart to see them. :D

Well, if the rhymes-with-witch weren't so busy boohoo-ing over Paul dumping her (a blessing in disguise, if you ask me), she would've aimed better, and we would've been spared Peg, or Maul, or whatever the frak that gruesome twosome are called.

I'm just saying.

Preach it!

See Jean Pissant doesnt know her history. We know that already. This is the writing that Courtney S. said was going to be messed up by the scabs??

I thought the buck stopped with Liz Hubbard. She's supposed to ad lib her way out of every lame script she gets.

I think Liz was too excited to be included in the scenes that she forgot to ad lib.

Well, the history wasn't that off....other than Barbara and possibly Margo, she had known him longer than anyone else in the room. Brian Bloom originated the role in 1983, and Liz started in '84. And he did work for her as a teenager.

At the end of the day, she was still wrong for even suggesting it if Barbara and Margo were in the room. It was inaccurate dialogue. Luckily Lucinda got to express her fondness for the guy, given how long she knew him. It's a wonder that this writing team didn't make her totally contemptuous because of his recent dalliances with Lily.

Well I think it is reported in one magazine that Chris Goutman is writing ATWT right now. Which is funny because Courtney S. just trashed him in that article that was printed about scab writing and fixing their mess. I have a feeling Goutman has been writing ATWT longer than this. At the Emmys last year Jean P wasnt even mentioned. I wonder if she is just there in name only. Goutman is telling her what to write.

Either he should have been telling her what to write all along, or higher-ups were already doing that and sabotaging the show.

I have to wonder if those rumors about Passanante (namely, that she's a HW in name only) aren't true. More and more, ATWT seems completely unfocused these days, as if there's absolutely no one in charge of the writing these days, and the actors are just making it up as they go along.
