Members UCLAN
Yep! Actually Ed Director/IEP coordinator at a Non Public School. (Special Education students only) I find it very interesting that most of the voter purge and registration is in the swing/toss up states. Please read Rolling stone article titled "Block the Vote" Robert Kennedy Jr wrote it and was on Rachel Maddow last night. I posted about it last night. I also wish that someone would provide me with a $150,000 wardrobe budget.
Members SnCCorinthos4ever
Wow, I know that if our politician's took their kids on trips with them then they have to pay for it out of their own pockets. Their spouse is allowed some leadway, but not kids.
Members SnCCorinthos4ever
I have a desk calendar on my desk (of course lol) that has quotes on it. It is the 23rd here and the quote for today is. "If men and women are in chains anywhere in the world, then freedom is endangered everywhere" John F. Kennedy. This is so true I thought it very appropriate considering how some feel about Obama being Afrian Americian or black, and I think that the word "CHAINS" can mean a lot of different things. Members UCLAN
So ery very true. Our chains are economic, moral, racial. This modern day freedom is being endangered by narrowed mindeness and fear.
Members Wales2004
It varies by state. Monday was the deadline here. I just watched a clip of part of Bill O'Reilly's appearance on The View. He's got quite the imagination because he claims he doesn't take sides politically. He decided to beat up on Joy for his comrade Elizabeth....too bad Whoopi wasn't there to jump in because BW couldn't get a word in. He called Obama a communist then took it back and said he was a socialist.
Members cct
Where my Dems at tonight? Or Casey? Brian? Independents? Socialists?
Members Scotty
Thanks. I'll just be glad when this election is over with and Obama and Biden are sworn into office. Well this Democrat is here tonight.
Members Jess
Biden has said many stupid things. Obama's "spread the wealth around" was not too bright.
Members cct
Great, now if we can just get the good Dr. in here (we see you!), we can get some discussion rolling. I'm fired up tonight.
Members Jess
I think this election is coming to an end at a very good time. I'm exhausted from it. It seems like the race started four years ago.
Members Scotty
ITA...the only downside is that on November 5th the 2012 Presidential election begins.
Members cct
OK, let's go with this: How can anyone be Undecided at this late date? I am continually astounded. Is it a cry for attention? Ashamed of who you're voting for? I Just Don't Get It. Do you know any Undecideds? What do they say?
Members Tishy
In NH, you can register that day at the polling place as long as you have proper identification. For the 2004 election I had moved to the town I lived at now but I had not changed my license. I had to show my license, my voter registration card and a utility bill.
