Oh [!@#$%^&*].

They are talking about JM calling Obama "That one" at one point in the debate. Howard Fineman just said that is being talked about alot in the spin room.

I know that McCain shook Michelle's hand and Obama shook Cindi's and I think that there was back pats between McCain and Obama.

Now for a O/T question.

Is Jon Stewart from the Daily Report the same Jon Stewart that was in 3rd Rock From The Sun. It was just that one of his facial expressions from last night reminded me of him.

French Stewart was on the sitcom.

CNN just ran their polls.

Obama whupped McCain on everything but who would handle terrorists better.

You know, there was nothing new in the debate tonight. McCain does not like Obama. Did they even shake hands or speak to one another after the debate?

I'd give that debate a tie because there was nothing new.

ITA about there being nothing new.

I thought McCain was supposed to be taking the gloves off but I guess I don't know what that means.

Why does McCain keep talking about earmarks/pork when he voted for some of that? That bear dna earmark he used as an example last time.....he voted for it.

McCain looked a bit uncomfortable.....and he referred to Obama as "that one."

It was being reported yesterday that Condoleeza Rice said success in Iraq is not a sure thing so she and McCain have a difference of opinion since McCain is still claiming that there will be victory.

When I grow up, I want to be in charge of the Magic Map. Screw the Presidency; I'm running to replace King on the Map.

That's all I'm waiting for now, so I can get to bed.

Wait.

McCain wants to spend $300 billion on buying up and renegotiating morgages? After we just spent $700 billion to bail out WS?!

WTF is he talking about?! And Republicans are not for Big Government........that bullshit.

They either gave away or sold those yellow cameras because it seems like most of the audience had one and were taking pictures with the Obamas.

I think some people are going to be a little angry with McCain for throwing that out there but he's trying to win this thing so everything goes.

WHAT?

OK, I just watched Soledad talk to the uncommitted in Ohio. First, I think it must be terrible to be this far into this election season and still not know what you are going to do. I can't imagine what these people are waiting on to decide. The people with Ms. O'Brien say that they need more specifics. How specific do they think it's going to get? Any promise made right now is mere conjecture, and if you call out specifics now and you have to compromise on them once you get elected, then you look like you're "breaking promises" or "wishy-washy."

But speaking of wishy-washy, I think it's almost hilarious, if not sad, that 12 of the 25 felt like obama won the debate and yet at the end 14 said they would vote for McCain if the election were held today? Plus all the ticker lines at the top when Obama spoke.

Tell me now this isn't about race.

You know why?

Because the McCains left right after the debate. Not just the stage but the building.

A little off topic.

Every 4 years Melbourne, Australia and the USA have a little something in common on the 1st Tuesday in November.

Every year there is this horse race here that literly brings the nation to a stop for 3-4 minutes and on that Tuesday the this horse race is the big taking point across the country. And things have started to get that final field of horses. And we get the day off because of this horse race.

Every 4th year in the US the Presdental election is the big talking point.

There are people that are like WAHOO the day and time is here, and there are some that are like thank god it's finally over for another 1/4 years.

I watched until Soledad O'Brien questioned the first lady who she said was 71. As soon as the woman said that it was about what they didn't say and she wanted to hear about their plans for withdrawing the troops, I changed the channel. Only someone who hasn't been paying any attention would be stuck on that and if she is indicative of the rest of the people in that room then that's too bad.
