You're kidding right...her Bush Doctrine definition made it all the way to SNL. Do they even have anyone playing Biden??.. or Obama for that matter??

Where did you hear that? That sounds kind of silly..

I think Palin's interviews with Hannity and Gibson have had the highest ratings so far this year with election related coverage..(Behind Obama and O'Reilly)..She has done two very high profile interviews and is slated for another tonight..What "thoughts" from Palin have yet to be covered?

BTW, How many interviews has Biden done since the DNC?

They can't run any Biden interviews just yet, Casey. They're still editing out the gaffes and won't be done until late October.

That, I understand, will be the big October Surprise everyone is talking about. :D

I agree, Roman. Gibson, for example, was so busy with the "gotcha" questions and pretending to be Grandpa Hardass that he forget to legitimately question her on issues of policy.

Oh right. The Bush Doctrine isn't policy, is it? Hmmm. I'd call it a nightmare, but in fact it is a nightmare of a policy. And I can't remember....did she know what that was? Um, no.

She has proven that she can't answer a off-the-cuff question. She can only half-ass answer a question when it is put in front of her bare bones. If she gets a complicated question, her head might explode.

Wow. This coming from the same people who keep telling us the VP doesn't matter. NOW that Biden can't stop screwing up, this is the NEW mantra that will win the election for McCain....

As soon as he can figure out who Sunny and Shia are.

According to Ole Miss, the debate isn't going to be canceled canceled, so McCain isn't getting what he wants.

Good. It shouldn't be. He wants to make himself look like he can work with Democrats on this, and try to make Obama look out of touch, like he doesn't care about what is happening.

Obama would have really been a fool to cancel the debate.

Roman....I believe that is exactly what the McCain campaign was hoping for. To further politicize the financial crisis on Wall Street. On some levels, it's a brilliant move. Paint McCain as someone that cares more about the crisis by putting the campaign on hold. Then when the Obama campaign balks at the request, use it as ammunition by saying all he cares about is winning the campaign.

Of course, it's very transparent. Anyone that can't see through this tactic better not step out in front of a Mac truck.

If it wasn't for one thing, GGL.

Obama called McCain first, and asked him to issue a joint statement on the crisis.

And whose out in front on this?

Ummmm. Yes, I'm quoting myself :P cuz I really want to hear y'alls opinion on this subject. Don't make me keep bumping it up in the thread cuz I will! And I'm not afraid to quote myself again to make it happen!

So, no one is biting on this issue, eh?

Palin gets question, looks to McCain, demurs

This is what happens when campaigns let reporters into photo ops. They get all uppity and ask questions.

From the pool report account of what happened after McCain and Palin's meeting with Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvilli and Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko:

McCain then looked around the room and gestured as if to welcome questions. The AP reporter shouted a question at Gov. Palin (“Governor, what have you learned from your meetings?”) but McCain aide Brooke Buchanan intervened and shepherded everybody out of the room.

Palin looked surprised, leaned over to McCain and asked him a question, to which your pooler thinks he shook his head as if to say “No.”

I'm sorry, but for anyone to allow themselves to be turned into a puppet all for the sake of a political campaign is not a "pitbull". If she knows she's not ready, and the McCain campaign obviously knows she's not ready, then WTF??

The emperor has no clothes. And people are starting to realize that.

Oh [!@#$%^&*]. So the McCain camp is running with an issue that Obama initiated? That's foul. He should know by now that there is no honor among theives.

Let's see here. And correct me if I'm wrong.

McCain wants to avoid the debates....

And Palin wants to avoid the media. Is that about right?

(And now we patiently wait for the spin, while hearing about Biden's latest bone-headed gaff).
