Here goes McCain and sidekick accusing Obama of having an association with a PLO leader that McCain's Republican group funded with a half million dollars.

I finally filled in my ballot earlier which had 12 state propositions (10 of which were poorly worded) and another three county propositions. And I did watch most of the Obamercial. It was better than I expected.

McCain has a clever commercial that says Obama isn't ready to be President yet....I guess that's supposed to appeal to people who like Obama but think he should run later. McCain doesn't have an economic plan so he's still not offering any alternative.

Its clear this rhetoric about Obama's supposed associations with these radicals isn't working for McCain, why does he keep doing it?

Tuesday cannot some soon enough! I love seeing those early voting numbers! Hopefully the turnout is high on election day too.

What channel is it on.

Hopefully they will put it on here.

Couple of questions.

What would be the best web site to keep an eye on for results. As it will be the 11/5 for me I would like to keep up to date.

I can give my work email addy if anyone wants to up date me lol.

Also here they are showing a special on one of the cable channels from the makers of the West Wing about the Presidential raace I think it is, It has a couple of past Presidents on it in Carter and Clinton. Have they showed it in the US or are they going to show it?

I called into into this show called "Clout" on Air America, that featured political discussion with Nancy Lee Grahan (Alexis, GH), Deidre Hall (Marlena, DAYS), Lesli Kay (Felicia, B&B), and Kimberly McCullough (Robin, GH). Got to speak to Nancy, Deidre and Lesli. It was great.

We talked about Obama and the change he'll bring to America, and I found out why Nancy and Deidre were supporting him, Lesli and I started talking about Obama's speech on race and whatnot, and then MY DAMN SIGNAL CUT OUT!!

OH!!  Well, it was well-said regardless. I guess that is one of the problems of politics, when the message transcends the politician

I would have enjoyed watching that. Why did they say they were supporting Obama?

Also, for a much earlier post by someone. I now put Elizabeth Dole on my list of those who deserve to lose and never again surface in political office. Her ads is a lie and she knows it. You know what, even if her opponent was "godless", it is her right as an American. But her opponent is a Presbyterian and a former Sunday School teacher. It's just a shameless lie.

Those who lie on the campaign, also lie in office.

They were all so nice and sweet. I complimented them all before we began talking about politics.

I spoke to why I supported Obama and how he speaks to me as a youth, how I like what he stands for and all that. Then I asked the ladies why they supported Obama and used their positions as actors to try and get their fans to vote (not necessarily for one person, but to vote on general).

Nancy said she was supporting Obama because of Roe vs. Wade (among many other reasons). She said his view on Women's rights and support for women makes him a strong candidate for her. She said if you are for women's rights Obama is a good candidate to back.

Deidre said she was supporting him for his stance on women's rights and equal pay (among other reasons).

Lesli and I talked a bit about Obama's speech on race that was held earlier this year.

Then the host asked me how I had time to watch soaps with my schedule and I was like DVR! We were getting ready to talk about why I like soaps and these ladies when my DAMN PHONE CUT OUT.

<_<

Are you undecided?

I seriously can't understand how someone can still be undecided just days before the election. I think I read on CNN on the Cafferty File how he doesn't think anyone is really "undecided". And I happen to agree with him for once. This is probably one of the most important elections and if someone hasn't made up their mind by now I really don't know what to think of them.

I think this is funny

Joe the no show

CNN) — Joe Wurzelbacher, aka Joe the Plumber, has become an integral part of John McCain's presidential bid, but it appears the Arizona senator's campaign and the now-famous Toledo plumber need to work on their communication skills.

McCain aides told CNN's Dana Bash Wurzelbacher would appear with the Republican presidential candidate at his first campaign event in Defiance, Ohio. But in what was a slightly awkward moment for McCain, Wurzelbacher was nowhere to be seen when the Arizona senator called out for him.

A campaign aide later said Wurzelbacher had "decided not to come" and may join McCain later in the day.

But reached at his home by CNN's Mary Snow, Wurzelbacher said it was "news to him" that he was supposed to be at the McCain rally. Wurzelbacher said nobody from the McCain campaign confirmed he was attending the event and called the incident a "miscommunication."

Wurzelbacher also said he is headed to Philadelphia for a charity event unrelated to the campaign and has no plans to meet up with McCain today.

UPDATE: Contacted by CNN a second time, Wurzelbacher said the campaign only called him to confirm after the event in question already took place. He will now try to meet up with McCain later in the day.

Wurzelbacher also said he had gotten an initial call about coming to the morning rally, "but no one called back to confirm," and was "not happy" that McCain had called out his name and he wasn't there.

    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
