Hi Jay. It's fun to agree with you again! Hope everything is well with you.

That is a good question.

I guess the fact a bunch of us, who are anything but red necks are talking about assassination says how great the potential is for some type of tragedy this year. That is why I really wish the RFK tragedy had not been brought up as topic in the campaign. The Huckabee thing too, it was like Obama wants to take you guns away, that's a shootin offense boys.

Of course, it didn't take Hillary to make people talk about it. I know people who support Obama who have said that he is such an electrifying political figure that he could be shot.

The tone of this thread is really disturbing,

I am not from NJ but the characterization of it as a pathetic state is offensive to me.

I know people who have lived through assassinations of leaders and the thought of it happening again is disturbing and they are not fanatics either. I think the broad strokes with which some of you choose to label people that are not of your opinion really says a lot.

I think it's ridiculous to suggest that a fanatical Obama supporter would try to kill HC but not that a fanatical HC supporter would try to kill Obama. How can someone know what's in the minds of every HC supporter in the nation? And furthermore, how does someone know with certainty that HC does not have any racist supporters as well?

Why is it that Obama has racist supporters but HC does not have any?

Who does the most name calling in this thread?

Question.

What is BC talking about now?

From CNN:

Bill Clinton says wife is victim of a ‘cover up’

Posted: 10:55 AM ET

From CNN Associate Political Editor Rebecca Sinderbrand

CNN

Watch Bill Clinton's remarks about the state of the race.

(CNN) — Former President Bill Clinton said that Democrats were more likely to lose in November if his wife Hillary Clinton is not the party’s presidential nominee, and suggested some people were trying to “cover this up” and “push and pressure and bully” superdelegates to make up their minds prematurely.

"I can’t believe it. It is just frantic the way they are trying to push and pressure and bully all these superdelegates to come out,” he said at a South Dakota campaign stop Sunday, in remarks first reported by ABC News. “'Oh, this is so terrible: The people they want her. Oh, this is so terrible: She is winning the general election, and he is not. Oh my goodness, we have to cover this up.'"

The former president added that his wife had not been given the respect she deserved as a legitimate presidential candidate. "She is winning the general election today and he is not, according to all the evidence,” he said. “And I have never seen anything like it. I have never seen a candidate treated so disrespectfully just for running.”

“Her only position was, ‘Look, if I lose I'll be a good team player. We will all try to win — but let's let everybody vote, and count every vote,’" he said.

The former president suggested that if the New York senator ended the primary season with an edge in the popular vote, it would be a significant development. "If you vote for her and she does well in Montana and she does well in Puerto Rico, when this is over she will be ahead in the popular vote,” said Clinton.

“And they're trying to get her to cry uncle before the Democratic Party has to decide what to do in Florida and Michigan” – which the party would need to do “unless we want to lose the election. "

The current requirement to claim the Democratic presidential nomination is 2,026 delegates, a formula that does not take into account delegates from Florida and Michigan, whose contests were not sanctioned by the party – although if those votes were to be counted as cast, Hillary Clinton would still currently trail rival Barack Obama in the overall delegate count.

The former president said Sunday that the media had unfairly attacked his wife since the Iowa caucuses, repeating an often-used charge that press coverage had made him feel as though he were living in a “fun house.”

"If you notice, there hasn't been a lot of publicity on these polls I just told you about,” he said. “It is the first time you've heard it? Why do you think that is? Why do you think? Don't you think if the polls were the reverse and he was winning the Electoral College against Senator McCain and Hillary was losing it, it would be blasted on every television station?”

He added, “You would know it wouldn't you? It wouldn't be a little secret. And there is another Electoral College poll that I saw yesterday had her over 300 electoral votes…. She will win the general election if you nominate her. They're just trying to make sure you don't."

As someone who is from NJ, I disagree with your overall assessment of my state. You're more than entitled to your opinion though. If someone begins bashing your state, don't say a damn things.

<_<

    • I don’t know either But having some random junkie extra be a part of John’s death feels weird I have no problem with the age gap, but I admit I do kind of side eye the high school element. I mean, when they hooked up 21 year old Casey Moss with 53 year old Kassie DePaiva, I had no problem, but this…

    • Trisha Mann-Grant is so so good. I can’t believe I’ve never seen her in something before.
    • When watching the clip of Michael returning I wonder if the announcer set a record for fastest "the role of..." I've never really connected to any of LLC's characters in her soap career, but I will give her credit for always knowing how to make a reaction and scene count. She did when Gio stormed out of the room, and her reaction to Michael returning and walking off with Miley, even in the background of a scene, was great. (and how is today the day I just realized Lisa is married to Michael Patrick Jann, of The State fame).
    • Holy [!@#$%^&*] just finished Friday’s episode. Despite my very public issues with this show, this week was everything I look for in soap opera. I fast forwarded all of the performances so I got nothing but soapy goodness. Honestly when GH wants to, they still pull off a Guza type event and this week was proof of that. I have to also shout out Ned getting some strong involvement, given Brook Lynn kept the secret from him, very happy about that. Maurice has to retire ASAP. Every other major player affected by this story, did such great work. He was embarrassingly bad like he barely knew where he was for some of his scenes. Giving him a job just because of his mental health has to stip when he’s actively ruining scenes. So happy Ned got a point of view most of the episode. Michael showing up with his new face and his son running up to him in front of everyone is just perfect and a great cliffhanger.
    • Why was there such a turnover of writers/producers in that era? You would think they would be looking for stability but each new team that came in changed direction , seemingly for no good reason instead of tweaking what was there. A lot of the new characters had little chance to get established before they were gone. Surely some of them had potential to be used by subsequent regimes? And what about bringing back writers familiar with the show ? Would Ann Marcus, the Corringtons, Henry Slesar or Peggy O'Shea been approached or interested?
    • Billy Magnussen is in the live action Lilo & Stitch.
    • Damn! Here we go again: Daniel Brocklebank has been axed from his role of Billy Mayhew after 11 years and will leave in 2026! bruh.. yet they keep useless characters Like Kirk and Izzy or Gemma on the payroll and axe Billy who actually had storylines and Craig. Craig was a Officer and could’ve used on important Future storylines but nooo. Keep Gemma, Izzy and Kirk who have no use
