I may seem like a dog in pursuit of a bone on this issue about being sleep deprived, tired and "misspeaking" about what should be considered a traumatic event but I can't see how a person can "misspeak" about something like that. I am certainly not her and I don't know how sharp of a memory she has on day to day events but I'm sure she does so many things that she can't possibly recall them all and as time goes by it's even harder to recall. I just know that from personal experience that traumatic events will stand out more vividly than what you ate for breakfast the day before, unless you block them out of your memory.

Her "misspeaking" would be plausible if she had been around sniping at some other time and she mixed up story locations or times but that wasn't said to be the case at all. It's nothing personal against her because I'd react the same way to anyone telling a story like that and later saying he/she misspoke about it.

Mulder, stay passionate, my friend.

All I think I'm saying is that look at both sides of both canidates, and that will do us all better as Independent thinking voters for whoever gets the nom (Obama I hope ;) . I couldn't resist. Sorry  ).

But.......you really took a HUGE step by saying that Hillary's campaign has had some poor planning and execution. Obama has done his fair share of stumbling, but 1. He can admit that he has done it, lending himself to the feeling that even if you don't like him, you can have alittle respect for him because he can admit when he screwed up, and 2. She needs to back up, look at all the mistakes that her campaign has made, keep on with the self reflection that she ahs started lately, STOP ATTACKING OBAMA, and build herself for a future run.

And, for the record......if Hillary had ran a self reflecting campaign, kept her husband at home, and got rid of people like Mark Penn and the like ealier, she may be leading.

I really thought McCain was the really deal but now he seems just every other rightwing guy.

Either straight talk Johns McCain was an act or he is willing to do or say anything to win the White House.

The stupid thing if he was still straight talk John McCain he would be able to pick off tons of Obama or Clintion voters who will refuse to vote for Obama or Clinton depending who get's the nom.

instead he's gone way to the right and Obama or Clinton voters will instead stay home ,which means who could still win.

However Obama seems to be the only one elft to be able to draw Dems , Indy and GOP voters.

Oh yep he is a definite Republican, not a RINO (I consider Arnold Schwarzenegger a RINO...Arnold is more liberal than, probably, Joe Lieberman. He pretty much is a Democrat in Republican clothing).

I lost respect for McCain when he sucked up to Bush in 2004 after Bush smeared him like no other in 2000

If hillary doesn't win big in Pennyslvannia, with a least a 10% lead in the votes, I really think hillary needs to call obama at 3 am( since thats her favortie time of the day.lol) and tell him she will end her bid for the presidential nom if he makes her his vp. Because there's no way she is gonna win this if she doesn't get 90% of the remaining delegates and beats obama by big margins in the next couple of races. Obama currently has a 130 plus delegate lead over hillary, so whatever states she wins obama will get some of those delegates also, so statistically he will still be ahead no matter what unless like I said she wins huge I'm talking about hillary 60% and to obama 40% win, does anyone honestly think this will happen? I honestly don't think the SD's are gonna vote for her over obama if he has the lead. Waiting till the Dem's convention is going to be very damaging and more people will start looking at McCain, just look at the poll numbers above.

Colin Powell praises Barack Obama

By Alex Spillius

Last Updated: 12:18am BST 11/04/2008

Colin Powell, the former US secretary of state, paid tribute to Barack Obama yesterday, praising the young senator's handling of his presidential campaign while playing down his inexperience.

Gen Powell said: "He doesn't have experience at the senior levels of national government. But I've seen other individuals who have come along that didn't have that breadth of experience."

Gen Powell, a Republican, is yet to endorse a candidate. He described Mr Obama, Hillary Clinton and John McCain all as "friends", but his remarks will fuel speculation that he will back Mr Obama in his bid to become the first black US president.

I disagree that it will hurt him. Colin Powell is still pretty respected by some people and it's not as if he's a radical person that is in the midst of great controversy. He's very low key and he comes across as trustworthy. I don't see where he said anything that is going to hurt Obama and I doubt if he praised or praises either or both of the other candidates it would be deemed as being hurtful to them. I fail to see how what he said is going to hurt Obama.

    • There hasn't been a media blackout, there's been live coverage on national news all weekend.
    • There's been something of a media blackout, but beyond that the only reason it's getting any attention is because Trump and the Republicans and their sycophants in the press are trying to create riots to pave the way for martial law.  And of course all the people who care more about setting fires and destroying property than anything else are happy to help them.  I've seen more interest in people arguing about whether or not they should be waving Mexican flags and how American flags are tainted than I have in the cause, which just reinforces what a malaise we are in. Many who claim to care about immigration only care to the tips of their fingers, just like Palestine and the rest. But these policies what people voted for. As long as they personally aren't affected, they are eating all this decimation up.
    • I was happy to see Caroline again even in one short scene. This was her first appearance since April 3. I was wondering why we haven't seen her, since Hayley desperately needs a talk-to aside from Bill.  I am also wondering where Jacob's partner is. Does Marcel have an opinion on Jacob spending so much time on the Laura case? Especially since Marcel warned Jacob about allowing his family to get in the way of police business. I liked seeing some vulnerability from Leslie today when she begged Eva to give her the helmet and gloves back. I'm still wondering how she will get out of the corner she has been written into. When we were first introduced to Leslie, she seemed like she might be a Machiavelli but since then it's clear that she more of a haphazard villainess doesn't seem to have a long term plan aside from causing random chaos.  Chelsea's desperation is cringeworthy but I actually think it's fairly realistic for someone who is closeted or newly out.
    • Not to mention Leslie has made a formal complaint and requested a restraining order so there is a trail of her acknowledging that Kat is doing the most and basically harassing her. I bet that bites her in the butt   It truly is. Chelsea is 23 and doc has to be at least 30. She has too much to lose so I don't see why she'd even bother considering an immature social media girl thats already showing signs of acting unstable. She knows who she is so she knows all the mess surrounding her such as filming her mother shooting a gun at a wedding, not to mention the recent drama with her WORK colleagues, Ted and Niicole. Madison needs to not get involved with a daughter from that family. It just reeks o mess that could impact her professionally
    • I'm really sure now that Leslie is going to skate on the charges now that Kat stupidly broke in and planted the evidence. At this point Jacob probably won't even being able to tie that helmet and gloves back to Leslie because it's been moved around too much.
    • Seriously Drew is scum. Does he actually even love Willow or does he just like having someone he can control?!
    • Having them interact so much now has been such a treat. My new favorite duo. The desperation is such a turn off.
