March 24, 200817 yr Member Thanks, brimike!! I have a whole pic of that writing team, but I do not recognize a single writer!
March 24, 200817 yr Member Thanks, brimike!! I have a whole pic of that writing team, but I do not recognize a single writer! I know that's Jean Passanante and Meg Kelly in the front. Not sure about the back, but my guess is Lynn Martin and Craig Heller. Don't hold me to that though - Toups is probably a better resource. :-)

I'm intriugued: why are you so sure it's Fred?

March 24, 200817 yr Member I hope Taylor and Bugler are not back....... I want Jeff Beldner and Michelle Patrick to be Co-HW's. They are the only two writers left who know the history of the show.
March 24, 200817 yr Member Rumour has it that DAYS, AMC and GH will follow in GL's footsteps. So far AMC has one writer credited for the episode writer (the name after Beall, Walsh, Beldner), and now GH had Michael Conforti listed twice (he's in his usual breakdown writers credit, and again above Elizabeth Korte's name meaning he wrote today's script). No credits for DAYS yet. Okay... so what I'm piecing together from this discussion is that there will still be AHWs but no BDWs? Am I correct? So if an AHW writes the outline, she will have to write the script as well; and if the SW is assigned to write the script, he will have to have written the outline as well? I'm still confused as to how this works. Michelle Patrick= AMC's next headwriter (at least in my world) In mine as well.
March 24, 200817 yr Member I'm intriugued: why are you so sure it's Fred? I can vouch for it as well. I saw him in the 1993 AMC Behind the Scenes video as well as the 2002 A&E Documentary.

If Bugler is, indeed, McTavish's niece, it would be interesting to see if Bugler comes back after Aunt Meggie basically blasted B&E in the press during the strike.
March 24, 200817 yr Member If Bugler is, indeed, McTavish's niece, it would be interesting to see if Bugler comes back after Aunt Meggie basically blasted B&E in the press during the strike. LOL very true. I know there was some discussion a while back during the strike, but is it pretty much assumed Kate Hall won't be back?

March 24, 200817 yr Member If Kate Hall is gone, it was a post-strike move, I guess. She was still with the show before the strike.

So if an AHW writes the outline, she will have to write the script as well; and if the SW is assigned to write the script, he will have to have written the outline as well? I'm still confused as to how this works. Since there's only one writer listed for the particular episode, I'm guessing they're writing scripts off thrusts - there's no breakdown writer listed for the episode. So instead of going from HW to BDW to SW, they're just going from HW to SW. I *think* that's how it works. LOL
March 24, 200817 yr Member HOGAN SHEFFER, HEAD WRITER (not there, defintely not hidden) HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well played, Toups!
March 24, 200817 yr Member Yeah. If Hall left like Khan said it would have been after the strike. But I really hope she did not leave. Also did Karen Lewis leave of did she get fired?
