August 20, 200817 yr Can someone confirm that today was the first day Pratt was listed as Consulting Producer (check yesterday's end credits too, please). He was not there yesterday (Tu. 8-19) and was there, today (Wed. 8-20). I noticed something that seemed different as of Monday's show, so I've been trying to watch for a credit for him.
August 20, 200817 yr Member Good to know I wasn't seeing things in regards to Pratt being in today's credits.

August 20, 200817 yr Member Thanks! No problem. No wonder I feel a slight change in AMC. Its slowly getting a bit better.
August 20, 200817 yr Member No problem. No wonder I feel a slight change in AMC. Its slowly getting a bit better. I would definitely agree. Time of course tells all (B&E a great example), but I am more intrigued by Pratt's plans than I was with B&E's. Hopefully he has better execution....

Oh, I had nothing but regrets from the moment that B&E was announced! When they finally announced that they finally were getting rid of McTavish, I so hoped that they would name someone/s who are really good. Granted, I enjoyed B&E on The City but they drove me nuts at Guiding Light! I guess you'd say I had reason to be full of pre-regret.

I can understand your optimism then. I watched bits & pieces of Loving over the years, and especially watched about 6 weeks of the ending. Never missed a day of The City.
August 21, 200817 yr Member I enjoyed B&E for the first maybe month, then I tuned out for most of August & September. I didn't like any of the stories and I felt the same characters were on too much. I don't think B&E were terrible, but they weren't what many fans were hoping for. I consider their year to be a transitional one.

I hated much of their stories, not only on AMC, but also on every other show they were on staff. But in this particular case, as always , how much was it Frons commanding them to write what he wanted? Does anyone know have these people ever written without network/EP interference? August 21, 200817 yr Member Slyph who is that in your avatar? I think I know, but I don't want to guess and be totally wrong.

August 21, 200817 yr Member Have you ever watched Disney's Gargoyles? Yup. I was a huge fan. That's where I thought I recognized the guy from.
August 21, 200817 yr Member Yup. I was a huge fan. That's where I thought I recognized the guy from. I was, too. And I was very sad it got cancelled and never ever renewed again. This is Magus, possibly battling the Weird Sisters.
