Hopefully he is one of the 7 Toups will be announcing tomorrow :D

I so desperately want to get back into Y&R.... and more and more stuff is coming out of the woodwork to incline myself to do so.

Adam, start watching again in August or September. That's when everyone is saying things will get better.

Who knows what will happen though. It can be great to them and not the audience. LOL!

Scott Hamner has been a failure on just about every show he's written. Knots Landing, Port Charles, Y&R, etc. He is LML's right hand man. I personally enjoy his season of Knots Landing, but it's probably the second most hated among fans. Then on Port Charles he took over after LML was fired and apparently was just a total mess. Based on his history he didn't even deserve to be hired, IMO.

Thankfully he has no creative say in the stories at Y&R anymore. He's not writing long-story or anything. I think all he does is the coordination amongst the script writers and adding notes to whatever stories are playing out. Still, I think he needs to go immediately.

While it's clear that Hamner no longer has any creative control I still want him gone. Granted, he may have said that Joan Collins was one of the best actresses to work with (he called her funny, intelligent and hard working among other compliments)...but that was the 80s, he's an LML hackette, off with his head!

Interesting that Thom Racina has a SSM connection.

He was Latham's Co-Head Writer last year and responsible for a lot of the crappy stories and pacing we got. The Carmen Mesta crap being one of those stories.

Well, on Y&R he was the "mystery writer" (per LML). So we got Carmen Mesta, Ji Min Kim, Plum and Carson. Sigh.

Moreover, prior to that, we had the HELL that was "General Homicide" (never ending convolution, culminating in mind control) on Port Charles.

No thank you to any more of that, okay? Although I am nervous (no spoiler, just a feeling) that we're not done with murder on Y&R.

I don't really think so. Maria went out of her way to get rid of that angle on the show. We got that infamous inside joke in the paper about the crime rate dropping as well. I wouldn't mind some murder intrigue on the show, as long as it doesn't become the show, as it was under Latham for the most part.

37 mins to go. ;)

Aw Toups, I thought you were going to let us suffer until mid-way through Wednesday.
