As if you didn't already know that, Adam! :D

You're one sharp cookie, Adam. I bet you know everything Toups does. Maybe.

DAYS:

- Bettina F. Bradbury last listed as Script Writer on May 16

They brought her back to only let her write one script which was on her last day.

Probably a contract issue... Don't know exactly... Such a shame, really...

Out of 18 episodes, she only gets 1 episode? Dena dissed her on purpose. <_< Whatever, I doubt Bettina even cared. It's not like she wanted to work for Dena anyway. She's probably happy to get out of there.

Wasn't Bettina F. Bradbury at OLTL briefly during Dena's tenure there? There's probably some bad blood....

Oh, Dena so did it on purpose... <_< But I meant, maybe her contract was about to expire somewhere before the strike began and then when it did begin, the contract was "frozen" and what was left for her to fulfill was to be fulfilled after the strike... I explained this horrifically, here's what I'm referring to:

According to the return to work clause in the new contract, to my understanding as explained by Guild, if a writer's contract expired during the strike, their contract will now be automatically extended for the number of days between when their contract expired and the end of the strike. So if their contract expired February 1, then their contracts will now expire 2/26, or something like that. It's confusing, and the legal department is handling all this stuff.

I hope Bettina pops up somewhere else...

I thought you weren't particularly fond of her work.

I only said she was hit-and-miss. At times, her scripts were frustrating, at times good.

And I somehow feel the need to show some solidarity. That's just not a way to fire someone.

Well, I don't know for sure if Dena did it on purpose. I'm just speculating based on history.

Judging by the rest of the things she did, it might well be the case...

I missed the boat some pages back. Since when is Richard Culiton out at ATWT? That's awful.

I'd love to see him come back to AMC and write some scripts, or perhaps he'll head to the Ron love in at OLTL with his wife.

I posted a few weeks ago, Adam. Goutman fired him. <_<

Goutman won't rest until ATWT is 6 feet under I guess....

Richard won't be unemployed for long. One of the best script writers in the history of the genre for me anyway.

Funny thing is, Sylph, not every writer at every show got that extension. There was a lot of picking and choosing over whose contract would be extended, and whose was picking up where it left off when the strike started.

Nothing like pouring salt on the wound...
