Yeah, I'd have to agree: JT as the dad is pretty lame. IMO, unless Brad does something terribly drastic (i.e., switch paternity test results, kidnap the baby), all the drama has effectively been squeezed out of this story.

Not necessarily. If they focus on JT becoming a genuine part of the Newman family there's still some dramatic potential left.

God I was so afraid they were gonna connect Victoria and Brad together forever....WHEW I can breathe easier now and watch Y&R with full enjoyment.

I don't think all is as it appears to be. Interesting that you mention Brad changing the paternity results because that's exactly what I think Victor did! My theory is that Victor made arrangements for someone to change paternity results to make it appear that J.T. is the daddy! He really does hate Brad that much and doesn't want him taking any part in Reed's life.
