Genie Francis on The View today!

I saw one of those ads that ABC shows at the bottom of the screen the other day saying that Genie Francis was going to be on The View - so I figured i'd tape it to see what she had to say. And first of all - she looked AMAZING! She looked nothing like she did back when she was on GH in Nov. 06. She said that she had lost 30 pounds, and it really showed. Good for her.

Sherri Sheperd(sp)? also asked her what happened with Laura and that she was so disappointed with the way Laura fell back into her coma. Genie said that she was willing to come back, but GH made no effort or any attempts. But that's old news - she also talked about some movie that she's doing and that she does not want to do a soap right now. Anyways...it was good seeing her again. Remimds me of how much I miss Laura!

I remember an ancient rumor after she first left GH in 02 that she would play Tina on OLTL. I loved the idea. I think she'd do great with a more colorful role.

Thanks for the above post that Genie was also to be featured on Inside Edition'-- I would have missed her otherwise!!

I also found her enchanting, gorgeous, & 100% class on 'The View' today. (I do hope Jill Faren Phelps was watching, too!)

I hope Genie's Hallmark Channel movie this Sat. night is a big success!!!! She deserves it & plus, we get the added treat of the cute & rather ageless Ted McKinley in the film as well--

GH always dressed her so frumpy and ugly in those matching pants and tops from walmart. anyone else notice that?

i tivoed her on the view, but i deleted it before i saw her. i only watch for hot topics.

I also think Genie would make a good Tina. I'd love to see her play a bitchy part for a change. If GH doesn't want her, maybe ONE LIFE would.
