I don't see the point of bringing Casey back either - now that Maddie's off the canvas. He may be a Hughes, but I don't see the need for him right now.

With Jesse L. Soffer rumored to be leaving soon, I don't blame ATWT for planning now, to bring in someone to replace him. As long as he can act, and is written well, I don't have a problem with him joining as Casey.

But that's the problem. If Jesse and Jen leave.......the only teens left are Casey, Noah, and Luke.

Hence my doubts about the success of Casey's return, now that it has been confirmed.

I don't think Casey is going to be gay. The audition script was with Alison and he tested with Marnie. I think we will see a quad of Casey/Alison/ Aaron/Sofie. Rumor has it Sofie is not leaving.

I don't know that his age will be mentioned while Gwen and Will are around, but eventually I believe we will be lead to believe he is closer in age to Alison.

Seems like a Casey/Ali/Aaron triangle is in the works to me. And if for some reason Jesse leaves and Jen stays, maybe a Casey/Gwen romance. Or if Jen leaves and Jesse stays, maybe a Casey/Ali/Will triangle.

It's all just one big "Spin the Bottle" game to me.
