February 12, 200817 yr Author Member Tom said he does watch other soaps (like GL, GH, AMC, etc) so if you have anything you want him to talk about regarding other soaps, he would be more than willing to chime in his opinion as a fan. A little later, I'll compile the list of questions that we can ask (based on your responses) and bring them up during the interview.
February 12, 200817 yr Member Who are some of Tom's favorite soap actors and actresses as well as favorite characters? What head writers that he hasn't worked with would he like to work with (yes, I know Toupsy asked a similar question, but I'd like some more detail)? What endears Tom to daytime TV? Is there a soap on the air currently he enjoys watching, other than DAYS of course? In Tom's view, what is the most essential element to making a soap opera good and entertaining?
February 12, 200817 yr Member LMAO Ryan don't tempt me I'd ask him what he thinks of Brown & Esensten's writing
February 12, 200817 yr Member I'd ask him what he thinks of Brown & Esensten's writing Well, he worked with them very briefly at DAYS.
February 12, 200817 yr Member I have another question, since Toups asked him about his thoughts on Jean Passanante in his interview, I would like to know what Tom's thoughts are on working with Carolyn Culliton, the woman many believe was responsible for ATWT's creative resurgence in the early 00's along with Hogan? February 12, 200817 yr Member Selfishly, can you ask him if he's single? You stole my question Noel. Please don't limit this man's interview to a discussion of DAYS. He worked on 4 other shows. Exactly!! We're gonna talk about those other shows Thank you! Ask him about his time at ATWT.
February 12, 200817 yr Member If he were to write the very last script for Days of Our Lives, what would the final scene be?
February 12, 200817 yr Administrator If he were to write the very last script for Days of Our Lives, what would the final scene be? You expect him to come up with that in like 5 seconds? LOL You gotta have time to think about something huge like that.
February 12, 200817 yr Member Are his answers going to be posted? I don't think I'll be able to listen to the radio show
February 12, 200817 yr Member Are his answers going to be posted? I don't think I'll be able to listen to the radio show It's achieved, if you miss it when it airs livem so you should still be able to hear the interview. Do you mean the player format doesn't agree with your computer or something? Edited February 12, 200817 yr by Y&RWorldTurner
February 12, 200817 yr Member I would ask him.... 1) Would you write for other soaps? 2) What kind of storylines would you write? 3) Is there any other soaps you would like to write for? 4) How has Daytime Writing changed over the past 10 years?
February 12, 200817 yr Member You expect him to come up with that in like 5 seconds? LOL You gotta have time to think about something huge like that. LoL, I'm sure he's thought about it! Hell, I don't even write the show and I've thought about it, LoL.
