AMC is a MESS. I hate saying this, but I think I'd almost prefer McT's crap over B&E's crap. At least McT had something entertaining to watch, no matter how detrimental it was to the overall show. B&E's crap is just boring as hell.

I will say that Alicia and Sabine were wonderful in their scenes today - BUT their scenes are so not needed. I find it odd that Kendall is all of a sudden getting THIS emotional about the whole thing - and is just NOW trying to get all this info outta Greenlee. At least maybe this means Kendall will stop her crazy revenge plot. But seriously Kendall - Spike is too young to realize that Greenlee kidnapped him, yet she was taking him back at the last minute. He may have heard her voice, but he still wouldn't comprehend!

WHY is Colby all pissed about the Sean/Ava thing again? I thought we were through that months ago! That didn't make sense.

WHY is this Krystal/Adam story on repeat? They haven't made any movement in this storyline in months!

The only thing about this show I'm enjoying these days is the character of Wes. Billy Miller is a great find - and I can't WAIT to see him shirtless. C'mon Billy - take that shirt off!

ETA:

I just saw the previews - and WHY ARE WE BACKTRACKING? Ugh - I can't believe we are going back to the whole 'Greenlee wants a kid...Zach and her eggs' crap. I hate that they're going to make Greenlee daydreaming about having a child again, and trying to convince Kendall to get on board, and then Zach destroyed my eggs so Greenlee will once again hate him and try to sue him thing again. It's neverending!

And since when do businesses have interviews at night in a dark office? Wes should have known something strange was going on...and WHY would Ryan hire him to work for him? I understand the concept of 'keep your enemies closer'...but seriously?

oh gawd, I thought the whole Car Seat Seance (which was what it looked like) was dumb as hell. Seriously who thought this was a good idea? Yawn

Today was boring. There really wasnt anything to keep me interested except Richie and Babe. Again WHAT the hell is Richie doing that is making him so evil. Ryan needs to STFU and stop harassing him. I see Ryan being the antagonist as Richie is trying to live his life but Ryan, Annie, Aidan and company wont leave him alone.

Anyone notice that Krystal's hair is getting darker? Looks like they stop coloring Bobbie's hair blonde and allowing her to go with more of her natural color. The new look looks really good

It was most likely that miserable Beall's idea -- since this is the first outline she's written in a little while. The Car Seat Seance was a total gimmick. I hope they don't continue with Kendall's annoying revenge plot after this -- because she tipped her hand. Even though it isn't as if Kendall hadn't been painfully obvious that she didn't want to renew a relationship with SabineLee after all of her bitching and barking during their secret Friendly Chats. But now, it's quite clear that Kendall is in no mood to forgive SabineLee. So if she falls for it after the Car Seat Seance, then that's on her. Aidiot tried to warn ya, but oh well.

    • Melissa Ordway announced she was moved to recurring back in November but is still credited with the contract cast members.
    • I think of Evan as a smarmy bast*rd. Maybe you'll like that description. You certainly have him pegged correctly since he is just a soldier following "Admiral" Iris's marching orders.
    • So far the only interest I've seen from Evan to Amanda has been listening to Iris's orders to go and seduce her.  So far he hasn't been successful... but who knows. Amanda is unbearable at times. Entitled, spoiled... idiotic. Iris... so blatantly manipulating her and Amanda takes the bait. But I guess... when she gets in trouble... she'll have a chance to learn. That's what makes these shows so interesting.    Oh, no, don't worry. You haven't ruined a thing. Evan has not been on my radar that much... he was not one of the characters I was caring particularly... so nothing much has been changed for me. I don't think he has the stuff to ruin Rachel's life. He's just a pretty guy that can follow orders. Iris on the other hand... is dangerous.

P.S Maybe Evan will surprise me. Who knows.
    • The show has gone back to 10/10 entertainment! I'm glad that I was right in feeling that what were experiencing were growing pains. I'm sure they are not over yet, but I'll know that we always comeback to quality drama. I think it's going to be a hell of ride (in a good way) from this moment on. BTG has that magic that not a lot of shows have. I'll update more... when I'm done catching up.
    • So very glad to hear this. Yesterday I suddenly thought; OMG, what about spoilers, have I just  ruined things for Maxim in getting carried away with interest in Evan, who was so well-written & well-acted. BTW, your fan review of this episode was a sight for eyes that had not seen one of these for a little bit too long, LOL!!!  Mitch is also fascinating to me but in his case it's because he was all in with Janice & her nefarious plan & then he did this turnabout we've mentioned & he basically got off scot-free.
    • It does seem cheap and lazy for this show to have just one family. Passions was heavily criticized but it was nicely structured with a total of four families.
    • I think it was definitely a surprising reveal in the storyline. I had a hard time appreciating Evan because I couldn't get behind his interest in Amanda. But that's because I never thought Sandra Ferguson made her a compelling character (although to give her credit she occasionally had decent emotional scenes with Mac or Rachel).
    • I'll even go further... I'll make her re-think BeLief and create a new patent. Brooke needs stuff to do. Anything other than beg or be in her panties. We need her to be creative. But sadly Bradley has a very low opinion of these characters. To him Brooke is nothing more than sex and scandal... or a pathetic doormat. Ridge is nothing more than a chauvinist pig that needs to pit women against each other to feel like A MAN and Steffy is nothing more than her father's guard-dog. I don't even want to open my mouth about Hope. She is such a fiasco in my opinion... I will not suffer if they kill her off. Bradley pooped on her character and now it's too late to fix it. Annika is great and I would hate to see her go, but slutty Hope was not her thing. The vibe was missing.
    • I've seen Jason interact with Mitch and annoy him. That's as far as I recall. I didn't even have a slight idea that Evan had a vendetta against Rachel... That came as a surprise to me. I thought Evan was Iris's dog and that's it. Now he's definitely more interesting.
    • Thanks for these. I can't recall -- did Evan's vendetta have any position on Mitch, or was it all about Rachel? @Maxim have you seen any Frames intreracting with Mitch in any way?
