thats a bit harsh. JR has been equally bad in his own way. I dont see Lindsay as having been that much more evil. Besides Lindsay has changed. She's reformed and redeemed herself. She isnt criminal anymore and not a villian. The Lidnsay of today is not hte same that came into town in the late 90s

Today's show was pretty good with the exception of John/Marty/Cole.

Loved the showdown at the school between Starr and Marcie.

Also enjoyed Todd and Marcie's confrontation.

I can tolerate Antonio so much more when he's with Talia. The girl is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters.

Jared is such a great addition to the show. Yesterday they had him interact with both Renee and Nigel.

I loved the Starr and Marcie confrontation today, it was a long time coming but Brit is just a beyotch lol,

Todd and Marcie were awesome, he really is enjoying torturing and threatening her, I only expect him to get more and more threatening towards her

KB was pheonomenal today

TSJ was also very, very good.

Another pretty good eppie today. No big shocks, no scenery chewing, but all in all a well-paced, solid show with John and Marty taking up minimal FF time. The Buchanan Enterprise scenes were probably my favorites of the day; I'm glad they didn't ignore or pussyfoot around Nat's lack of real qualifications.

I'm starting to like Natalie again, or maybe dislike her less would be more accurate. John Brotherton as Jarred is one of the best additions to the cast in a long time.

And Todd and Blair's wedding was almost exactly what it should have been, given that there was a wedding at all.

Just got caught up, and I enjoyed the week. I'm glad to feel like the custody thing will end...and I didn't think I would be I like Todd and Blair this time around.

I love that we are starting to see Langston's storyline, I just don't want it to go by too fast

    • I'm not sure I agree with Bernstein's children on that. Bernstein's life and activism here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonard_Bernstein#Social_activism_and_humanitarian_efforts
    • Thursday & Friday's episodes were excellent. The build-up was most definitely worth the wait (2 months). TMG, I can't give her enough accolades. AM, was also absolutely incredible. I think the fallout is going to have a ripple effect. The little clues that have been dropped,  hopefully, will weave seamlessly to reveal even bigger bombshells for the Dupree's and Martin.
    • Thanks, msn drives me nuts on the one hand but on the other hand their headlines appeal to me. And, I just don't do FoxNews.
    • The link doesn't work.  The actual link is this: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/composer-leonard-bernstein-s-children-request-his-music-be-played-in-the-kennedy-center-in-rebuke-to-trump/ar-AA1E7gw5 That's a reprint of a FoxNews article. MSN reprints stuff from many sources. You can tell the source from the logo above the headline on the msn page. The FoxNews article is describing what Leonard Bernstein's children wrote -- as a "letter to the editor" of the New York Times. Instead of reading it filtered through FoxNews, here is the original: "Our Dad, Leonard Bernstein, Would Want His Music Played at the Kennedy Center" https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/02/opinion/kennedy-center-leonard-bernstein-protest.html Non-paywall archived copy of the same NYTimes letter, without commentary: https://archive.is/QaLqD
    • Might be a long shot, because I can't find a thing online about it, but I was Googling the actress that played Nell Cleary (Frank's cop friend that went through academy and then became cops together during the entire Brent Lawrence storyline). To my surprise, she passed away in 2011, at the very young age of 45. I can't find her obituary or anything online about her passing, but I'm curious, does anyone know what happened? Her IMDB only shows a few other acting gigs post-Guiding Light, so she didn't make a career out of it, but I thought she was a great actress in her role as Cleary. Her name was Mary Peterson.
    • What was Ruth Martin's association to the Thornton family?  I only remember the daughter that dated Tad, and she had a buxom mother.  But, did Ruth date David Thorton before Joe?

Why didn't Steve respect Monica and Jeff's decision?  I get he's Jeff's father, and that's how it came out, but I don't like the ethics of the story. A stranger gets to make life or death decisions over a wife's demands?   I hope Monica secretly never forgave Steve's chauvinism.
    • Question: Jon-Michael Reed's review of 1977 is up in the retro soap section.  It includes a fleeting reference to comedic scenes between Jeanne Cooper and Julianna McCarthy regarding “Kay's would-be beau, Ralph the Plumber”.  Could someone please fill me in will more details? I forgot that Kay and Liz were friendly before Jill stole Kay's husband.  And the thought of Liz playing a comedic scene blows my mind, because I only recall her being dour both in demeanor and wardrobe.
    • I said this on Twitter on Friday when Leslie mentioned Chicago, so perhaps she might be related to one of Anita's bandmates. In addition, Leslie did say she grew up listening to The Articulettes too.
    • There was a scene in the past week or two with Leslie looking at some papers and mementos, which included an invitation or souvenir from Alan's memorial service or funeral -- it was dated as November 2024. Me just guessing but it seems to me that Martin's nightmares about the accident are from something longer ago than November.
