I really never watched SB. Is this good for them? They had a really small cast it seems

This was only the beginning. I've just added the next 3 months. Notice the amount of new characters. If you ask me, SB was amazing during those years.

Can a moderator change the title to August-November 1984? Thanks.

Thanx Dmarex,very interesting to see a new show take shape.

The Dobsons soon moved away from the original concept,as the Perkins and Andrade families were written off.

I wonder how far ahead they had planned and what changes were made. Were they waiting to see what worked on screen and comfortable with dropping characters and storylines.

In the first month Danny and Jade were frontburner then began to fade out.I remember their story was fluff compared to what else was happening.Melissa Brennan was obviously not a problem given the fact that she became a star on DOOL.

I'm surprised to see the numbers for Judith Anderson.In my memory Minx hardly appeared so I think some of those listings were brief appearances.

I also recall reading that there were other members of the Andrade family and they were mentioned on screen By Reuben and Rosa.

Ruben Andrade, Marisa Perkins, John Perkins, Joe Perkins, Jade, Summer, Veronica and many other were written off.

Rosa Andrade, however, appeared 1984-1987, and then later 1991-1993.

And yes, Minx appeared very briefly. I wonder why she ever had a contract.

Louise Sorel was great as Augusta, just as amazing as Madame Vivian, its to bad a show cant use her.

How I miss Santa Barbara. It was the best daytime show to debut since Y&R. The 2nd best? Loving.
