I still think the aftermath of the death and the paternity would still provide months of story for all 4 characters, which could keep ratings stable. We never even seen the baby face and whats even worse is that ever since Belle gave birth she has been holding a doll, why can't they just get a real baby. While I admit I'm a Shelle fan and want to see the couple back together, there's such a thing as being the third party in a triangle and another thing being total character destruction.
