The Season finale was the BEST episode ever! It sucks that NBC canceled the show but it forced JER to step up his game and man is the show amazing. BEST soap on the air. I really hope I can find DTV episodes online

So much happened. I was shocked to see Fox killed off! I was hoping he'd make it. I thought the insta-love for Esme was dumb though. She's the woman, he's always been dreaming of? How corny. I wonder what they will do with her now

The Alistar implanting a chip into Fancy reminded me of Stefano and Hope. I thought this part was dumb. I hope they dont turn her evil

Im glad Miguel finally knows about the witches but its too late for him. I hope Endora isnt gone for too long

I dont like that they made Vincent/Valerie. Val was in town years before Vincent popped up. So he's been masquerading as her this whole time? Or is Valerie real and he got rid of her? I hpoe its the latter as that will null the incest factor of him sleeping with Julian

Who didnt see the Gwen reveal? I was jumping up and down. LOVED that cliffhanger. The look on Theresa's face was priceless. Best moment yet

I was really expecting an unexpected return. I guess Marty would qualify but I thought Grace would be back. BTW, I thought Marty had on a wig. I wonder why they changed him from a blonde to a brunette. He had a Beth like cut....lol. Everyone's talking about Alistair and Marty surviving but no Beth mention. I no for sure now though that Sheridan isnt Beth. The bitch just snapped and is crazy.

I think JER did a good job at wrapping everything up and/or bringing things to a head. He seemed to have left Paloma and Noah out of the mix though. Where do they stand? And of course TC faded away with no mention

I think this is a problem with soap fans and it's a mentality and a mind set that I believe they should snap out of. Why must everything be G-rated? lol. I mean, the primetime shows do this stuff ALL the time. Even if it's just a one- or two-episode arc on a show like Law and Order: SVU there are no qualms about incest or shocking plot lines because the grittier, the more graphic, the better and the more realistic, on some level. Personally, I don't like being talked down to or having things censored for me. If Vincent had sex with his father, willingly, and is such a freak to do that -- well, that's a story. We know he's emotionally disturbed and it's not like the show is promoting it or saying it's a good thing. It's just a story.

Let's enjoy our stories, please!

Oh, you betcha it was! And that's where I disagree with Phoenix because the pacing was pitch perfect for me. I felt it had to go slow and have a calm before the storm so that, for the unspoiled, you'd be SHOCKED OUT OF HELL that in those last five minutes, Gwen returned with ethan's "son." I mean, the music, the mood, EVERYTHING shifted DRASTICALLY in the last minute of that storyline. It was written, acted and most important, directed BRILLIANTLY. The music was incredible too. That was very much classic soap opera -- and one HELL of a cliffhanger.

What was cornier to me about Fesme is that they were both saying they were destitute. Um, on what planet?! I don't see Fox getting kicked out of that mansion (if he'd lived) ANYTIME soon, so that means he doesn't have rent and hell, "cook" fixes everything so there's no food to worry about. Just how bad could he have it? And don't tell me that with a job at CRANE, as a CRANE he doesn't have millions banked up.

See, that's what pisses me off sometimes about the writers. They don't think.

As for Vikki, I disagree, Phoenix. I think it doesn't matter that we can safely guess she's the killer. The REAL hook to this story is WHY. Why does this silent, conservative, otherwise sensible looking girl act this way? What makes her a killer? WHY did she kill her parents? Just what is up with her?

I am VERY intrigued to learn EACH AND EVERY one of those answers.

As for the Fancy brain chip thing, I think it's brilliant. Yes, "Days" did it but is that why it's stupid? Not a good enough excuse until you see it play out on THIS show. Having said that, I APPLAUD JER for having the courage to tell a socially relevant story such as this one. Let's face it guys, in these times, more so than in 2000 when "Days" did it, this actually COULD happen. It's a scary thought, but it's plausible and possible. And frankly, on this show, I'd BOYCOTT the show if Al, this man who's "richer than God," DIDN'T go to these kinds of extremes, since he has the money to do such a thing. How else could he control Fancy? Maybe through hypnotism, old school. But that's not fun because where are the gadgets and the flashing lights of the secret room whence he controls her? laugh.gif Besides, that's not very socially relevant since we need to be warned and on guard from identity THEFT, which, I fear, will soon include devious acts such as this one, and take on a more literal meaning.

JSF...don't get me wrong. I have no problem with controversial stories or stories that push the envelope. I would like to see it more. Hell, I gave JER props for going the all out incest route. I didn't even complain when it was revealed Chad slept with his own uncle. However, when it is revealed Julian has had sex with his own son, that is a little too much. Although, it should be noted, we have no idea how long Vincent has been disguised as Valeire. Perhaps it wasn't until recently. I think there is more to this because I can't see JER going that far.

As for Viki, I just hope she is a read herring. Yes, even if she is the killer, it's interesting. I just want JER to shock me with one of his mysteries because he hasn't in a long time. Passions Red and Vendetta were disappointing and so was the Vincent reveal, even if it gave us great story. All those were predictable. I just want him to make it look like Viki did it and then shock us by saying someone else did it. If it's Viki, I am ok with it as there is potential there but I guess I lean a bit more in the other direction too.

We will have to disagree on T/E/G. The buildup during the finale was fine but they did not have to drag things out the whole week at the expense of other stories. I would've loved to see TC say goodbye to his daughters and it would've been nice if Simone had some actual goodbye scenes. Same goes for Edna and Norma, both of whom disappeared without a mention. Some more Fox/Esme buildup scenes wouldn't have hurt too.

The brain chip thing is something I am not all out bashing. I am bashing the premise of the brain chip but I do like the turn it took with Fancy's bloody nose and the effect it is having on Pretty. It's helping Pretty's character IMO. I just don't like the use of the brain chip because, to me, JER can do what he is trying to do here in other ways. That's all.

The Cranes are the Dimeras of PSSNS. Eventually they all will become evil. Sheridan and Fox came on good but look how bad they got over the past year. Im sure Fancy will get her turn soon and I think this "Princess Gina" like chip will do the trick

Im actually liking Esme but boy have they neutred her. She lost part of the thing that made her Esme. I understand they needed to tone her down to make her a viable character but I think she works better over the top and crazy. I miss the days of her chasing around people with shotguns...lol. I dont want to sympathize with her. I want to laugh at her and for her to be someone I love to hate.

Im so confused about the Sam/Ivy stuff bc before she wnad Julian were back together and planning a future and then I see him screwing Eve and now Ivy with Sam?

I forgot but Jessica didnt get any resolution. Where is she? They really should have at least had her, Noah and Paloma at the hospital to support Sam and Theresa. That would have made sense

Is this the first time we've actually seen Tabitha's basement? I actually like the shenanigans that happen at Tabitha's house. Its there for comedic relief and it does the trick bc I find myself laughing along with them. Its a good contrast to the more serious and heavier drama

I do beleive that Valerie does exist. I dont belive that Vincent ahs been Val for all these years. How the heck could Julian sleep with her and not know? And vice versa with Chad who slept with both. Plus Val and Vincent were onscreen together before. I think he either killed her or has her stashed somewhere. I think he's only been masquerading as her for the past few months

Speaking of which, why has it NEVER been brought up that Vincent raped Fancy? The blackmailer is the one that did that right? Julian has been protecting and chokign up about his new son, but what about Fancy and what Vincent did to her? Shoot why hasnt Fancy or Ivy made the connection?
