I know! This horrible, horrible quadrangle has destroyed every other character, but the hitman is the one who gets to remain squeaky clean. This show has the most f'ed up moral code. I spend so much of his scenes inwardly screaming "but he's a contract killer! And doesn't feel any guilt about it! He's not a hero!".

Okay, I've had some enormous gaps in my viewing, but am I right in believing that Sonny recently tried to take Carly's children away? And mani-pull-ates her every shance he gets? And shot her in the head while she was giving birth? Not to mention what he's done to other women. I believe he was the one who got Karen hooked on drugs. And am I right in thinking that Jason has never turned on Sonny for these actions?

So doesn't it seem a wee bit unfair for Jason to go into "hero mode" against Logan? I'm not saying Logan is a saint. The forced kiss was really obnoxious, and clearly he just cheated on her, but the forced kiss is nothing to the things that are completely overlooked on the show.

Come to think of it, how it it that male rape is something to find humorous, and a forced kiss is a horrendous crime?

Oh, and that Maxie Logan kiss was hot. I'm an L&L3 fan, but these two definitely have chemistry.

HAHA, the way she kept going at him, you would have thought she had a wire on her. Now THAT would have been smart. She needed to get him threatening to kill her on tape and then arrange for it to be sent to Lucky, Alexis, Nikolas, Ric and the mayor in case of her death. She should have used that as leverage to get him to back off

Lol and then Jason would REALLY get angry....she wouldn't last a day cuz of course being stupid she'd try to threaten him and get him to "back off" and then Jason would simply pretend to.

And then hours later as Sam is sitting there in her fugly apartment thinking shes gotten the best of Liason the audience hears the wonderful sounds of 3 sniper bullets entering the back of her head.

I'm looking forward to catching what I missed on Soapnet tonight....Thank God for Soapnet. I don't know what I'd do without it.

Along with my wire idea, she should also write a long and detailed letter revealing everything she knows about the business and any illegal activities that Jason or Sonny have gotten into over the years that she's aware of. She was with him for 3 years ; she knows stuff and unlike his other gfs, she actually went along with him while he was working. And at the end of that letter, reveal in big bold letters that Jason is Jake's father. If anything happens to her, the right people will get this little package and Jason, Sonny and Liz are screwed. I think Jason might think differently about trying to take her out if she presnted the right amount of leverage to get him to back off her

So exactly what has Liz done to ruin Sam's life? Oh yeah she has Jason's baby, BWAH! *snort*

Ugh FOAD you delusional bitch and start taking responsibilty for YOUR actions instead of putting the blame on the wrong person.

At least Lucky puts his anger on Liz, SamHo's anger should be at Jason and no one else.

Why is this worthless bitch still alive? FOAD X 1 Billion

Liz played a role in teh disintrigration of her relationship with Jason. Thats why she is pissed off at her. As far as Jason goes, well he threatened to kill her, so I think that might be why she hasnt messed with him directly. Hurting Liz is her way to hurt him

IA that hurting Elizabeth is a way to hurt Jason, but I don't think Elizabeth played any role in the disintegration of that relationship. Jason and Sam destroyed it all on their own. Jason emotionally detached himself from Sam when he decided to push her away and he seemed to have made a decision to stop being in love with her as well. He didn't stop caring about her but they were basically going through the motions after that. By time he slept with Elizabeth, he wasn't in love with Sam anymore.

I really don't think Elizabeth did anything mean to Sam, and I'm certainly no Sam fan, but I can see why she'd be livid. Sam risked everything for Jason, and now that she's lost him and her fertility, she really has nothing left. Elizabeth has everything. I think it's realistic and fair for her to resent the hell out of Liz.

However, it is definitely not justifiable for her to be an accessory to Jake's kidnapping. Sam has crossed every line in her interactions with Liz.

    • I totally agree with this, as most of you seem to. Mary Carney was at least competent and reasonably likable; I just feel like she barely had anything of substance to do before she was abruptly given the hook. And I get the backstory of Kathleen Tolan having done a play with Helen Gallagher, but...at any point did they ever actually READ her before they greenlit her? Because...OOF. First time I saw her on SoapNet was right when this GODAWFUL actress named Charity Rahmer played Belle on Days of Our Lives for all of three weeks before she was mercifully recast; her line readings were straight out of a Charlie Brown special. I remember thinking Kathleen Tolan could have played her mother! In the Frank/Jill/Delia triangle, Delia WAS the one who was cheated on, so I got why she was upset and thought it was perfectly valid in theory at least, but of course it was blown up to Wagnerian proportions including falls involving staircases and tricycles. But with Pat/Faith/Delia I had no sympathy for her...especially because it was mainly with Catherine Hicks's Faith and I really liked her.
    • I was going through those episodes from 1984 and early 1985 before they were taken down. Some of the older characters, like Don and even Tom, looked a little out of place, like they were on the wrong show. But the newer characters were fun. It's too bad they lost the character of Melissa. I guess Jennifer took her long-term place on the canvas.

    • The black and white episodes of the show are very special. An atmosphere the color run loses. Dark Shadows was filmed live-on-tape. They could do a retake but it would be very expensive. I think there was a claim that if actors wanted a retake they would curse. There was also a rumor that at one point Joan Bennett accidentally said "Hollywood" instead of "Collinwood" and that necessitated a retake.

    • Loved this IG post from Ambyr about how she and Trisha work together. You can tell these ladies go above and beyond the script, and that they really trust and enjoy working together. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DJpJufFPOQ2/?igsh=MXBmcWs0YzIwaXVhNA==

    • It is a shame that more characters didn't go the ATWT-Barbara route and make the ingénue into an antagonist. Sort of like they did with Liza/Hogan/Sunny, less successfully. It is a credit to ATWT's creativity that breathed life in that character for years after she was fighting off bulls in Spain.  But, a character like Liza can only have so many true loves and high jinks on the high seas.  They need another reason to be in the story. Liza's wealth, as well as her acumen to see through fraud, was fertile ground for tons of stories.  But, I feel like the business stories for Liza were always about her being easily overwhelmed, rather than exploring things like her leadership and managerial skills.
    • STFU!! Dante!!! This nonsense of blaming Gio is just ridiculous! Alexis and Lucky are becoming so unlikable. Why are the writers writing these characters so poorly?
    • Keith still comes off younger to me. I thought he wasn't that bad for his first day.
    • To be fair, they were only recently step-siblings.  Their parents married within the past few years.  And, Draper's father Ansel was not coy about the fact that he married Raven's mother, Nadine, for the money. And, Raven's sort of sticking it to April that not only can she have a baby (April has a heart condition that makes it difficult for her to carry a child to term), she could also have April's man, if she wanted him.
