This week will feature Lindsay's arrest, Miles discovering a secret, and more. Hope you enjoy your visit and are prepared to discuss the interworkings of Llanview, PA and OLTL. If so, then you're in the right place.

So let the discussion of the good, bad, and ugly that is Llanview, Pennsylvania & One Life to Live begin...

Today was a bit of a let down, I was expecting more from Lindsay's arrest. I did love how Marcie seems to be the only standing up for Lindsay, even though she's wrong. I hope when it comes out, that Marcie and Lindsay can still be close... though, it's doubtful seeing that everyone in her life basically knows the secret but her. Even Todd will know before her.

What's Jared's deal? Him snooping around the Buchanan twits is getting annoying. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a grudge with Jessica (from of course the Tess days) and starts to like Natalie (while she's still all in everyone's business). As for Natalie, for once, I wasn't totally annoyed with her today. She was truly being a friend to Miles and not demanding to know the deals of the Tommy situation.

I love the fact that we are seeing so much of Nora lately. So far she's on 15/19 shows. I think that's more time in one month than the last year or so. And it's ABOUT TIME! I just hope this trend continues and we will see more of her each month from now on.

I agree, it is nice to see so much more of Nora this month.

In the previous three months , she has been in 14 episodes (4 in May and 5 each in June and July)....so far this month she has been in 14/19 episodes for a total of 74%, with only 4 episodes left in the month.

It was interesting how so far Marcie hasn't seemed to notice that everyone else is acting like it's a righteous arrest. Of course, no one except Michael seemed to be objecting when it seemed like Marcie might be arrested.

On one hand, I find that to be unbelievable on her part as a mystery writer. How come she didn't question how Michael and Rex weren't reacting like her? On the other hand, Marcie's been preoccupied with a lot of things as a wife and mother... so her not picking up the clues, is not that unreasonable.

I tuned in Friday and LOVED it. However i was totally let down by today! Instead of letting it come out slowly tyhey should BLOW the Tommy stuff wide open and let the fall out happen. I also don't like how LOUD Marcie is. It dosen't make me feel sorry for what is about to happen to her.

    • Thursday & Friday's episodes were excellent. The build-up was most definitely worth the wait (2 months). TMG, I can't give her enough accolades. AM, was also absolutely incredible. I think the fallout is going to have a ripple effect. The little clues that have been dropped,  hopefully, will weave seamlessly to reveal even bigger bombshells for the Dupree's and Martin.
    • Thanks, msn drives me nuts on the one hand but on the other hand their headlines appeal to me. And, I just don't do FoxNews.  She is trolling this thread.
    • The link doesn't work.  The actual link is this: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/composer-leonard-bernstein-s-children-request-his-music-be-played-in-the-kennedy-center-in-rebuke-to-trump/ar-AA1E7gw5 That's a reprint of a FoxNews article. MSN reprints stuff from many sources. You can tell the source from the logo above the headline on the msn page. The FoxNews article is describing what Leonard Bernstein's children wrote -- as a "letter to the editor" of the New York Times. Instead of reading it filtered through FoxNews, here is the original: "Our Dad, Leonard Bernstein, Would Want His Music Played at the Kennedy Center" https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/02/opinion/kennedy-center-leonard-bernstein-protest.html Non-paywall archived copy of the same NYTimes letter, without commentary: https://archive.is/QaLqD
    • Might be a long shot, because I can't find a thing online about it, but I was Googling the actress that played Nell Cleary (Frank's cop friend that went through academy and then became cops together during the entire Brent Lawrence storyline). To my surprise, she passed away in 2011, at the very young age of 45. I can't find her obituary or anything online about her passing, but I'm curious, does anyone know what happened? Her IMDB only shows a few other acting gigs post-Guiding Light, so she didn't make a career out of it, but I thought she was a great actress in her role as Cleary. Her name was Mary Peterson.
    • What was Ruth Martin's association to the Thornton family?  I only remember the daughter that dated Tad, and she had a buxom mother.  But, did Ruth date David Thorton before Joe?

Why didn't Steve respect Monica and Jeff's decision?  I get he's Jeff's father, and that's how it came out, but I don't like the ethics of the story. A stranger gets to make life or death decisions over a wife's demands?   I hope Monica secretly never forgave Steve's chauvinism.
    • Question: Jon-Michael Reed's review of 1977 is up in the retro soap section.  It includes a fleeting reference to comedic scenes between Jeanne Cooper and Julianna McCarthy regarding “Kay's would-be beau, Ralph the Plumber”.  Could someone please fill me in will more details? I forgot that Kay and Liz were friendly before Jill stole Kay's husband.  And the thought of Liz playing a comedic scene blows my mind, because I only recall her being dour both in demeanor and wardrobe.
    • I said this on Twitter on Friday when Leslie mentioned Chicago, so perhaps she might be related to one of Anita's bandmates. In addition, Leslie did say she grew up listening to The Articulettes too.
    • There was a scene in the past week or two with Leslie looking at some papers and mementos, which included an invitation or souvenir from Alan's memorial service or funeral -- it was dated as November 2024. Me just guessing but it seems to me that Martin's nightmares about the accident are from something longer ago than November.
    • ah thanks! do you know who the third one was in the blonde? the fifth one i know ive seen before in the brown wig but i forgot, and then ive never seen the psychic one before lol
