My All-Time Favorite Christmas Movies. I usually get them all together pick a night close to christmas usually with my sisters and we watch ALL of them with only the christmas lights and decorations on in the house.

My Top 6 Favorites are:

-Mixed Nuts

-Home Alone

-National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (a TRUE gem)

-A Christmas Story

-How the Grinch Stole Christmas (animated)

-Planes, Trains & Automobiles

We also watch Mickey's Christmas Carol (LOL)!

I absolutely LOVE Christmas time. Basically from the middle of November until New Years, just the feeling you get, its such an awesome feeling. I love the christmas music, the christmas shopping, the snow, the cold, the decorations, just everything.

EDIT: I just realised this is the same thread from last year. LOL!

Isn't there also a Charlie Brown Christmas special?

Of course there is! :D Don't you remember Charlie Brown and Linus going out and getting that sickly, tiny tree? Watching "A Charlie Brown Christmas" is one of my favorite holiday traditions! In fact, I see where it's coming on ABC tonight!! :D

My favorite holiday movie is "A Christmas Story" - hands down, no comparison. We leave it on TBS starting Xmas Eve night and all Xmas Day. :)

Now, this drives my grandma crazy, but I love the TBS marathon of A Christmas Story. I can watch that sucker the entire marathon period.

I also love watching Miracle on 42nd Street (the original black and white with Natalie Wood).

I like National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. I can stand A Christmas Story, but only in small doses. I also like A Christmas Carol, but only the more modern versions of it.

Charlie Brown's Christmas

The Rankin Bass ones, especially Frosty

How the Grinch Stole Christmas

It's a Wonderful Life (really, I watch it for that one scene where George and Mary are both on the phone and they soooo gotta kiss)

Does any body remember this Christmas movie with Susan Lucci in it? She's like the female version of Scrooge?
