Audrina has done plenty of interviews and she's pretty much confirmed that its not 100% real. I dont mind it bc I dont go in watching it as a reality show. Ive been liking the focus on Audrina and Steph. Audrina deserves it as she was like Whitney and barely featured for the first couple of seasons

Honestly, i loved this show and laguna beach before i started meeting them and knowing people who know them. because i know how certin things go down and its nothing like on the show.

Brody is tho. I do tune him to star at him. And Audrina is a hottie. But other big issue with this show is its star - i cant stand Lauren!

I wish there were a trashy soap based on The Hills. Like, a fully scripted show based on these people, their past etc.

And some new faces, of course.

They probably will when Whitney gets her own show, The City, which has begun shooting and shows Whitney living and working in New York...

I read somewhere that she works for Diane von Fürstenberg now. She seems to be the only one with legitimate jobs.

I really liked Newport Harbor and 8th & Ocean, but they never got second seasons.

Lol I liked those shows too. They did some Newport Harbor thing last Christmas that was like "Christmas in NH" or something. It only last a few episodes. I don't know why they dropped it. It couldn't have had that bad of ratings.

LOL...as for Lauren, I like her but at least for you, there has been less focus on her this season.

1 thing that bugs me about the show is how they try to portray it as real but completely ignore the fact that these girls are celebritires. They arent normal people anynmore and are on tv shows, magazines, etc....Lauren is an aspring fashion designer on the show but in real life she has her own fashion line. Its still good tv but they ignore a major part of their lifestyles while at the same time still trying to reiterate that its all real. i just read something about this the other day. 1 thing that was funny was how Holly's mom was so shocked to see that she was back living with Spencer but doesnt she watch the tv show or go on the internet....lol

I don't believe the timing of these events. There was news of Whitney working for Diane VF like two or three months ago. And at her going away party they mention that Spencer and Heidi are missing (wedding). But the "wedding" only broke about a month ago in the news. Sorry if that's really picky. But they make it seem like these events co-incide when one was reported WAY before the other.

i could be wrong, but i think that her going away party was held a few months after her meeting with DVF, and thats why H+S are missing at it...

I wouldnt have expected them to be there as Whitney isnt friends with the couple. That line about Audrina mentioning them was probably edited in. I'm also confused about the timing bc I thought the show was filmed months in advance but then we see promos for the S/H wedding 2 weeks later. Oh well.

They hyped up this Heidi/Spencer marriage over the past month with the first breakout of that news in the magazines and then they've been promoting it on MTV and turns out that wedding wasnt even legal and now Spencer postpones their second wedding, so the 2 still arent married after all these years. Show needs to get a new storyline for them bc its the same sh-t that keeps getting recycled.

Oh and how phony was the Heidi/Lauren reunion? They could have done alot better than that. The Hills is a mess and I wish it would have ended, especially with it spinning off into 2 new shows

I think Audrina spilled that they're doing season 5, but maybe she this "extension" is what she was referring to. I'm looking forward to the City more than the Hills coming back.

I didnt like them extending season 3 and dont like it here. Why not just call it a new season? Im not sure what to think of the City. Theres a reason why Whitney is barely featured and its bc she's boring. I like her but people want to see drama and she's definetly not about that. Im not so sure if she can carry her own show but I will check it out.
