December 29, 201411 yr Member What I wouldn't give to find some episodes of "King's Crossing" or "Secrets Of Midland Heights!"
December 29, 201411 yr Member Agreed. There's another promo out there of one of those but it's in awful quality.
January 27, 201511 yr Member Summer 96. I put a TV Guide preview article about it (where the producer let us know it was not a soap!!!) some pages back in this thread.
February 1, 201511 yr Member Thanks. I wonder why they didn't wait until fall when they might have had a larger audience going in.
February 1, 201511 yr Member Maybe. Also, do you think Larry Hagman would have been able to break through the "JR" typecast to make his judge character memorable?
February 1, 201511 yr Member I think he could have (I've never seen the show) with the right direction and material.
February 1, 201511 yr Member True. It's a shame the show never got a chance - I believe the show only lasted a month if that.
February 5, 201511 yr Member I liked Orleans, though I don't remember much about it. Judge Luther Charbonnet, IIRC. His love interest was played by Vanessa Bell Calloway which I thought was a cool choice. I seem to remember Luther in his drawers frolicking with her in the bedroom. I don't think the show lasted two months. Had a cool theme song.
February 7, 201511 yr Author Member Warner Archive Instant has added The Yellow Rose to its streaming program. The NBC drama starred Sam Elliot, David Soul, and Cybill Shepherd. It ran for 22 episodes during the 1983-1984 season. A complete DVD set was released through the Warner Archive Collection in May 2011.
February 7, 201511 yr Member I bought the DVD set a couple of years ago. I wasn't sure how it would hold up 30 years later but was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed watching it again.
