What's the one place that you can go to feel "safe" or calm. The one place that you can go to clear your mind and just....be relaxed?

Mine is usually this secluded area of the beach on the island I live on (Brigantine is an "island"). The place gets a good breeze and the view is just so.............relaxing.

But seriously - laying on my couch, under the blanket, door locked. That is totally my safe haven and place to just think/clear my head.

Everywhere else seems so busy or uncomfortable.

The lake by my home...I go there to skip stones once in a while when things become too much, and it makes me feel relaxed.

And I just vent to myself out loud while I skip stones. People think I am crazy, but that is how I am and it calms me

My "me" place is definitely the lake. I can go there and lay down on the grass and just lay there for hours, especially on a clear day when the sky is blue. The lake looks like the best color of blue. Ah, I love it. The weather's been so humid, so it hasn't been nice lately.
