I was really surprised at how well Gayle handled the group. I didn't expect the "newbie" to come in there and pretty much...moderate, and she did and she did it well. She's the closest thing to Meredith that this show has had since well - Meredith.

Yup! She came in and took over. In a good way. Sadly she'll never get the same ratings as Rosie. I agreed with most of what Rosie said but couldn't take her anger. Gayle seems to be the same way (AS ME and ROSIE)

Gayle would deliver some of the Oprah audience though. And really ... does the woman want to be Oprah's shadow for her entire career?

I agree she would bring the Oprah crowd over! And the women of The View would most likely do Oprah!! I'm all about Gayle King on The View!!!
