Members Tishy
Just watched on the news, WMUR Channel Nine that Mass. killed an amendment to ban gay marriage. Mass. is currently the only state that allows gay marriage, other states allow civil unions. Huge victory for gays and lesbians, and as one man said he and his spouse can sleep easier knowing that they don't have this over their head anymore. They can stay married. This was something that Republican Presidential Candidate and former Mass. Governor Mitt Romney supported FYI.

Members Shawn
Good for everyone this makes happy, but gay marriage just doesn't appeal to me. I've had a lot of friends attack me for it, but hey, just because I'm gay, doesn't mean I have to love it.

Members Keith
I'm so glad this issue is no longer an issue. The last thing lawmakers need to focus on is what makes marriage, marriage. Gag me.
Members juppiter
I'm gay and gay marriage isn't an issue I vote on. Were it passed, great. Were it not, I don't really care. There are way more pressing issues in our society, like ending the war, making health insurance more accessible and less expensive, and protecting American jobs from outsourcing. Gay marriage is way down on my list. While I don't think it's fair that gays can't marry, there are just more important things out there that affect way more people. When the American Dream is again possible, THEN we can start to talk about gay marriage.
Members Marilyn_M
And these are some of the last people on earth to talk about marriage and morals because they are screwed up just like the rest of us, if not worse!
