I have only seen her a bit in commercials on SoapNet and a couple of scenes but I hate her. She is nasty like Meanlee, but instead of loving to hate her, I just hate her.

And for the record, I see this character it being written as the spoiled, entitled nasty human being she always was. I pity anyone who is paired with her.

Run Daphne, Run!!! Please. Your character is annoying and Carter needs to stop with this constant looking-for-love-to-be-rejected stories. Now if they could get rid of Electra/Will/Dylan also, the show would be on a great track.
I like the mess that is Deacon/Taylor. It will cause lots of conflict between characters and I'm here for it just like the new Logan vs Forrester story.

Ahh, well that's nice to hear, but I still don't like the idea of throwing out your hard-earned accomplishments when others would have treated them like gold. Maybe he's the type that doesn't think material possessions matter and it's more the sentiment / having his name be winner is enough.

Guiding Light Discussion Thread

Hilary being killed off was pretty sudden and unexpected in the fall of 1984 so I wonder if that was a last minute decision due to the issues between Kobe and the actress playing Hilary?
To me, watching the summer 1984 episodes.. the show seemed to be hinting at a possible pairing between her and Fletcher.. and the two had a good rapport with one another. It was probably being done because the actor that played Jim probably had indicated he wouldn't be staying beyond his contract (I know the actor said he signed a shorter contract of a year or so and he opted to leave after that expired) and the September 1984 episodes did seem to indicate a Jim/Annabelle bond that both Tony and Hilary had taken note of.
