Does that mean Belle is back in Salem? I sure hope so! But it's probably over the phone. Oh well, at least John is up now.

Yeah John is waking up..but i have a feeling the Marlena fans will get upset that its not Marlena's voice thats waking him..whatever, i'm just happy the coma is almost over..

I just hope Marlena is in the room, LOL. Enough *off-screen* reactions.

I think you may be right about that! I personally don't think theres anything wrong with him waking up to Belle's voice. It is his daughter afterall and they have a close relationship. For me, this is seen as him waking up to the voice of his daughter who desperatey needs his help... and she's always been reliant on John.

It's Belle's shrill, annoying voice that wakes John up?? If my daughter were Belle, I'd stay in that coma forever! LOL!

I am glad it's Belle. John hasn't heard her voice and Marlena has been talking to him so maybe her return from being on the run or merely just hearing from her is enough of a draw to bring him back. Who cares? John is up and that is all that matters.

Sounds like the most logical theory. She adores her father. First thing she'd do is go see him.

John should be responding to Marlena's voice... not Belle's.

I wonder if they'll build a story up to John's waking up or if it'll just randomly happen in any given episode?

From what I read, there may be a little buildup but I also think they did a little buildup with it a few weeks ago when Marlena found the coin in John's hands and learned he was still "with her."

A few weeks ago... John wakes a week or so from now.

So, they give us a little tease. Drop it for three weeks, then suddenly have John wake up with no dramatic buildup or anything? Oy. I'm happy that John's waking up, but they could at least play it with a little buildup and fanfare.

Will he finger EJ (LoL!) as his shooter? If not, he must have amnesia.
