Willow is in the hospital due to premature contractions. She didn't seem worried about the baby though, so I supposed eveything is OK for the time being.

I enjoyed the show today. It was entertaining and I even watched EJ scenes and Sami scenes, drum roll LOL. Celeste and Sami were spellbinding like in an Alfred Hitchcock story or The Twilight Zone. Although, it was a far cry from believable that Will would have been in that apartment with them having the "grizzley murder" discussion. It was interesting that Sami did her mother bit in the midst of all that. What I didn't particularly care for was the regression of Chelsea nor the outfit and makeup for today. Why is her first event in her father's home one of revenge and tackiness? Not a good omen. The show was good enough that I forgot to watch the previews. That is really strange.

My question is, why did EJ lie about "Brandy Mathas?" I mean, NO such girl exists. (FYI: I'm such a dork, I DID Google the name, as Eej-man suggested Kate to do, and it came up EMPTY in Google images -- just a picture of Bo, Hope and Jennier together. So that was VERY strange.

OMG. I just thought of something. What if Will wasn't really playing his music and heard everything? He could have faked it just to throw Sami offguard. It's obvious the fingers are pointing at Sami and Celeste, but I think it could be Will who gets involved.

HOLY LORD, YOU'RE RIGHT!!!!1

I think that is a jacked up version of "Samantha Brady."

Wow, I suspected a little, but I did NOT see that coming!

It's EXCELLENT writing though, because DiMeras LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE to do that with their names.

Aremid?

Rudolpho Meradi, anyone?

Thanks for the history nod, HOgan, you rock, DUDE!!!!

    • yes. today Monday's episode started with words displayed "part 1" and ended with "to be continued"
    • I find Missy Reeve's views offensive and I don't want to defend her, but I don't think she ever said anything publicly about Days "gay content".   In fact, I don't think she's ever said anything negative about Days at all.  There's no indication Missy is difficult or unprofessional on set-except for the whole affair thing years ago lol-but that's a whole different topic. I can dislike Missy as a person and still think she's the perfect fit for Jen.  Cady tried and it didn't work for me.  Whenever Missy steps into the role it works.  It's a two things can be true situation.  Missy has some bad opinions, but she's great at playing Jennifer.
    • Doesn't the funeral go into Tuesday
    • Christian Streaty wrote her second freelance script today on Days. Surprised they gave the first funeral episode to a newbie.
    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
    • This is the coldest early June in my life. It's like it's January.
